We start where we left off last week, with Akiyama's promising declaration, that is.
Akiyama: You got caught in my trap so neatly.
But, as Yokoya sifts through possibilities in his mind, he can't really determine what exactly Akiyama is talking about.
Yokoya: You bribed Fatso?
Akiyama: Nope, I didn't.
Yokoya: You know the hiding place of my chair?
Akiyama: No, I don't know anything about that.
Yokoya: Then stop your ridiculous bluffing!
But of course, Akiyama wasn't bluffing. As we know, Yokoya kept the number of members of his group to minimum, and, by bribing Shima, the leader of the Gaya Alliance, he successfully manipulated all the Gaya. But it seems these very actions of his were what got him trapped.
As Akiyama and Yokoya are talking, all 13 Gaya start gathering around them. And then they just form a tight circle around Yokoya.
Akiyama: We won't let you go and sit in your chair.
Yokoya: Wh--?!
Yes, Akiyama's plan is to make Fatso the final winner by not letting Yokoya sit in his chair.
To make Yokoya start giving them his medals, all the members of the Gaya Alliance followed Young Jump's instructions. But Yokoya still didn't give them what they all were craving for, his medals that is. And it came to a point where Young Jump couldn't control the Gaya Alliance anymore. At the time when Gaya were at a loss as to what they were gonna do next, Akiyama approached them.
Akiyama: Until now you all thought that Ikezawa's medals are trash medals, but if we force Yokoya to become Gaya, that will make Ikezawa the final winner, you know. Meaning, Ikezawa's medals will become the final winner's medals!
So, once he explained it to Gaya, Akiyama successfully stopped Yokoya from physically moving from the spot.
Yokoya: Outta my way! It's an act of violence! You'll be penaltized with 100,000,000 yen fine!
Akiyama: What are you, started sleeptalking now? You've been told in the mock game that obstructing one's path isn't an act of violence.
And indeed, blocking Yokoya's path isn't classified as a violation of rules.
Yokoya gets impatient. That's when the signal to take a seat sounds. Yokoya frantically tries to break through the cordon surrounding him. But the people around him are unyielding and don't give up even an inch. He tries again and again, but it's all useless.
Akiyama: Last night all the Gaya have had a whole night of fitful sleep, while you didn't get a wink of sleep. So in terms of physical strength you're no match for any of them right now.
Last night both Harimoto and Yokoya, instead of sleeping, were awake watching if the other tried to make a contact with Akiyama's group or sabotage their alliance in any other way. And now Yokoya has it backfiring at him. Besides, not only Akiyama figured this development, but also both Yokoya and Harimoto were kept in a state of constant mental strain because of the need to maintain their alliance.
Yokoya: There's one woman among them... if I feint first and then make a dash for it, I just might be able to...!
With this, he charges at Abe (Black Ponytail). However, while Abe is indeed a female, she stops Yokoya all the same.
The time for taking a seat is over and the signal, heralding it, sounds. Meanwhile Ikezawa, of course, knew nothing of Yokoya's predicament.
Next time, we gonna have to endure a hiatus. And then, we'll know the development of this shocking course of action of Akiyama's!
