Favourite Negima Character

I went with.

1. Negi, As eyesotope said it's really nice to see a smart Shonen main character especially as he's not just smart in battle but just all round really bright.

2. Eva, because she's awesome, I'm really hoping we'll get to see her going all out in combat at some poing because that will be epic.

3. Here I went for Yue though there are a whole bunch of other characters that could take this spot. In Yue's case it's the intelligence and interesting memory plot that draw me too her. I', hoping we won't at any point get an instant full memory recall but instead she'll get it back in spots over time.

these days every time I read the summary of a manga series that starts with something like "(insert character name) is a useless good for nothing guy who......" I just stop reading right there and never read anymore than that... ever.
and that's mostly Negi's fault, it's really a lot of fun to see a character like him who's good at practically everything, but the downside is that he makes many other main chars seem like plain eyesores in comparison

But be that as it may, what I would have voted is:

1) Eva (Who doesn't love an evil queen of darkness and nightmares capable of mass destruction that comes in small and extra small? To say nothing of the fact she's not standard evil...she's actually EVIL)

2) Negi (I look forward to him joining Eva as an Evil...er...not loli, but shouta...but that is debatable *cough* fox costume *cough* But jokes aside, I love the fact he actually changes, unlike the majority of the Shounen population in categories other than strength. Life is not about winning, life is about making hard choices, which he has had to do. And, as he so bluntly stated Life = EVIL) oh and @eyesotope, Negi isn't perfect, after all, he isn't pure evil yet

3) Chisame (She's a sarcastic cynical woman who's outlook on the world is bleak at best and is able to perceive the state of things just as well as Haruna without having to go on a fangirl crusade for justice, smut, yaoi, and more smut. PS. No offense Intended for the fangirl community! Me wub woo! [IE. Please spare me])

Forgive me, I forgot to mention that the other reason I love Eva is that Basement Cat is her own personal Kitteh.

Surprisingly, Kotarou is my favorite character. I think its mostly because hes never described as being gifted, yet he still manages to keep up with Negi. He's not a genius either. Kotarou trained himself since he was abandoned as a kid, with no help from anyone else.

Also, the beast-form is awesome looking, what can I say?

Second would be Rakan, because hes so broken its hillarious ^.^

Third would be Negi, for being a smart protagonist. ME is awesome.

EDIT:Also, my favorite girl character would be Ku Fei. Theres multiple reasons, but the main one is she breaks the whole "damsel in distress" mold. That can get so boring. Shes actually pretty strong.

1st. Nodoka, i mean her character growth in itself is excellent. She goes from being unable to do sqaut and helpless, to push herself to help. In fact its this character that got me into the series, having seen the 1st 3 episodes im like, i wonder whats special about this character, wiki'd a little and started watching.

2nd. Setsuna, again character development. A considerably powerful character with troubles that she doesnt let stop her, and a dedication that adds multiple facets to her personality, love it.

3rd.Kaede. Ninja. anything else?a wisdom beyond her years and a source of inspiration for her comrades. and a ninja lol.

Pretty much most of Ala Albra except for Eishun (wheres Zect?!)

The level of brokeness when we talk about them is just crazy. Colonel Saunders (lol), is truly a man to be feared of.

Hmm... let's see...

Evangeline. Why? Simple. I think Eva is a highly unique character. She has a soft side for Negi later on in the story, and her tsunderness only adds to her cuteness. ^^

The top male character in my opinion has to be the one and only, Albireo Imma!
He's the only one to make Kitt--Eva mad.

First would be Negi, because he´s smart, something that others already mention, and that he made choices to became stronger which was using dark magic, and I think that was brilliant from the author from doing such a thing, because nobody is all good nor all evil, and this will have a much better development further in the series.

The second is Asuna. She is a character that has so much to be written. I mean, her past, her sins, her anti magical ability, and all that stuff surrounding her that it´s very mysterious. And her personality as well, the princess one, with the souless eyes, and the "normal" straight forward one as well.

Third is Kaede. She is a ninja de gozaru. And the arcaic form verb that was used among samurais is awesome.

Evangeline... because she is so adorable when she is mean... and when you count in Chachazero it's epic =) also the "scene" when she kicked Fate's ass was incedible =)

Chao... i'm not really sure why, maybe her stubborn side and her dramatical way of acting as leader of matian army i mean real-time giant holo projections are way too cool =)

Albi... I mean Colonel Sanders... because of his sense of humour and the way he toys with Eva... not to mention his "sera-fuku, sku-mizu, nekomimi, megane" combo invention =)

1) Evangeline, because F*CK YEAH EVA-CHAN
2) Chisame, because F*CK YEAH CHISAME (ok not really just that. I like it how she's always trying to keep a little sanity and how they keep taking it away from her)
3) Tsukuyomi, because she's missing a few screws and ohgawd those tights @_@

1. Setsuna - She has this aura around her that makes her deadly, yet kawaii at the same time... the girl with the temper... (I personally think she is as cute as tsundere characters [or even cuter than tsundere characters]) An offshoot of Motoko of Love Hina when it comes to dedication, love, and seriousness. Immature about love, but serious about self-defense, she has this "Takudere" feel to her... *Kawaii~~~~~~~~~~! nyan~~~~*

2. Nodoka - I liked the first few portrayals of Nodoka when she was introduced as a character with the crush on the main dude in the series (She was an offshoot of Shinobu, and so was Hinata [to break the bad news, Hinata doesn't look too original]) Honestly, the treasure hunting has made the girl less available for Negi. Despite the fact that she has other men after her, she has the "shydere" feel to her. *Moe~~~~~*

3. Asuna - An offshoot of Naru, the heroine gets captured by an enemy (remember Su's army? Well, Fate replaced Su in the sense that fate captures the heroine) The attitude of disgust and denial makes the girl so much more funny (tsundere... lol). But prior to capture, she accompanies Negi on the journeys and encounter problems (i.e. Fate, Shiori) This character parallels Love Hina as a whole, even though the concept may be original.

4. Yue - She is cute in so many ways, but I believe that she has a long ways to go before bringing out the full character in her - after all she did lose her memory in the incident with Fandolle-san.

5. Konoka - An airhead at times, this girl in some ways is less mature than the counterpart Setsuna. She has a much more unripe mature feel to her, kinda like fruit that has not really finished sweetening up, but she has that cute expression on her.

Character LEAST Liked... Tsukyomi - Yandere character. I REALLY don't understand her obsession. She first wants to fight Setsuna-sempai, then Negi-Sensei... creepy =_=; She has more than just a few screws loose. But physically, she's not bad...
