This isn't quite true, Pain acknowledged Kakashi as a very real threat should he survive and not to mention he actually had "Yahiko Pain" caught off guard several times.

Kakashi is quite capable fighting someone like Sasuke, he may not have crazy stamina but the guy is still a much better fighter than Naruto.

I wouldnt say better... but he is definitely the most efficient fighter in the manga.. compared to chakra beasts, Like Naruto, pain and sasuke to an extent.. he fights on such a high lvl without the benefit of spamming jutsu after jutsu until he gets his target..

I know most people hate his guts but you have to give sasuke due credit.
Sasuke has outdone kakashi twice, Both by defeating Deidara which kakashi could not and Actually holding his ground against Itachi Something that Kakshi could only do for a few seconds on his own.

Sasuke Has surpassed Kakshi in Every Way except strategical skills.
Itachi even stated it before Kakshi can't beat a natural born Uchiha, ESPECIALLY one who has MS and has far outdone anything anyone from his clan did.

Not to knock Kakashi but he has alot of weak points *low chakara* Cough

The only one who can stop Sasuke's oncoming onslaught is the strongest person in the village, naruto (that still sounds weird).


There's just no way Kakshi can hold his ground againt sasuke

Kakashi is still a badass, as mentioned, it's not fair to put the guy down because he's not a monster like Naruto or Pain, but he has crazy battle experience, immense intelligence, plus gawd knows how many jutsu in his arsenal.

So you can't compare them VS Itachi as it's fairly obvious at 100% Itachi was someone even Madara feared, hell Itachi would have even given Nagato a run for his money.

Your two reasons are flawed, first of all kakashi did "beat" deidara ( and saved everyones ass from him, multiple times), basically the same thing sasuke did since they both didnt give the killing blow.
your second reason is just ridiculous, you can't say sasuke accomplished anything during his "battle" with itachi, if itachi wanted to sasuke would've been ded in moments.
truthfully the only real advantage sasuke has on kakashi is chakra, their ninjutsu is on par, genjustsu i guess id give to sasuke cus of his ms, tai <kakashi x10 an dont get me started with intelligence.
so saying kakashi is not on sasuke's level is just not true, just look at their stats an its pretty clear neither of them are ahead by far.

I'm not insinuating that Sasuke would Completely decimate Kakshi. I just dont Think Kakshi would last as long as..say Deidara did. Sasuke's KNows all Kakshi's tricks and anything Kakashi can do Sasuke can do it better.

Kakashi can still beat Sasuke, just not often. If they fought ten times, Sasuke would probably win 7-8 times. But, of the ten, you never know when Kakashi would get his W. It could be the first match. Kakashi has a vast array of jutsu that can keep Sasuke off balance. He just so happens to be a raiton user as well, the element where sasuke has shown the most growth. Though Kakashi's doton would be useless against Sasuke's Raiton, it would fare fine against Sasuke's Katon, and even if it doesn't he still has Suiton. So, Kakashi can nullify Sasuke's best element, and also nullify his second best element (with the exception of Amaterasu, of course, which he may be able to use Kamui on anyway).

In terms of speed, Kakashi is probably as fast as Sasuke. The only place where Sasuke takes a clear and decisive advantage is with his MS. Though Sasuke can summon Amaterasu onto Kakashi, it turns out that Kakashi is one of the only nins who may be capable of avoiding it, either through trickery, like Sasuke did v. Itachi, possibly through speed, or the creation of mist, etc, to break the focus of the jutsu. Kakashi is hella weak with Tsukiyomi though. If he gets caught in it he will die.

All of the above makes it seem like Kakashi would win more than 2 times in ten, but given counters, and strength of the respective sharingans, and chakra capacity, Sasuke would probably come out ahead.

The jutsu He used to Get rid of Amaterasu's flames, He acknowledged it as a new power and was surprised by it himself.

Maybe you are right, but IMO it seems, at this time knowing what we know now, that he just turned Amaterasu off. He was just using it of his own free will for the very first time and was surprised that he could turn it off. This is not really special because even Itachi did the same thing here.

Furthermore, if that were some special ability of any MS user, to cancel amaterasu, then Itachi would have had to know in advance that Madara would just cancel his amaterasu once it was summoned up by Sasuke, making it even more of a fail than Madara called it.

As of now it just looks like the caster of amaterasu can cancel it. Madara has some other counter, it seems as of now.

The one problem with this manga is everyone has killer moves but they never use them to kill right away. Pain could have just had his summon suck out everyone's soul including Narutos ( but capture not kill I know) Kakashi could just zap Sasuke away with his MS or Sasuke could melt him but neither would happen.

if he knew about it beforehand, maybe. If he doesn't know what's going on, he has no time to react. Something tells me, though, that he'll be using a raikiri on it...I mean, that's how the chidori got that nickname.

I think kirin is more of a last resort justu to finish the opponent off when their really vulnerable/exguasted, i dont think it would work on kakashi unless he was as tired as much as he was his fight with pain.
i always thought if there would be a fight between kakashi n sasuke, sasuke would use kirin n kakashi would litterly cut it in half with his raikiri, like he said it was able do that in the beginning of the manga.
