A better sequel medium than the manga, I mean. Like, someone who watched the Nationals OVA and then the SPoT anime may be content with the anime rather than watching the Nationals OVA and then reading the SPoT manga.

Don't get me wrong though, both the SPoT manga and anime sucks as a whole compared to PoT1.

I like SPoT anime better, i went back and watched a lot of the old anime and laughed. Not to mention all those "changes" (invisible swing!) but only slightly more. I find enjoyment in all of them though. SPoTs issue is that its monthly..you have so much time to think about how Konomi probably fucked up haha.

You never knew that Atobe lost his Top of Popularity rank after the Team SHuffle when the Losers came back?
Its an old poll we discussed awhile ago lol.
Top 5 is Fuji Shusuke, Echizen Ryoma, Atobe Keigo, Yukimura Seiichi and Marui Bunta.

Which would explain why we saw Marui about to train with Kite. But Im not expecting anything from Marui though. I expect that we were just trolled into thinking he was gonna play by Konomi.

I don't really like forums/fandom anymore. I'm mostly here out of boredom, so nah i didn't see it. I was on the wiki and ended up on Yuki's page and saw that he was number 4 (glad he's up there) Atobe being dethroned was no suprise but not by much lol.

I was personally stunned, since Atobe VS Irie is amongst the best in the series.
And Fuji and Ryoma are yet to play a full match. Fuji is yet to do anything of any significance but his popularity only increased.
Irie btw is No. 30 on the character poll. Ahead of Momoshiro Takeshi who is now out of the Top 30 for the first time. Poor guy.

The simple answer is female fanbase. Ryoma is adorable,and girls just love fuji and Atobe. Villain characters generally don't do well in japan, but since Yukimura is no longer potrayed as the final boss his delicate features got him a bunch of fans most likely.

Itachi from Naruto did fantastic. I wouldnt say that Villains dont do well as in several mangas they do.

Itachi did retty bad until certain developents took place similar story to Yukimura. And i don't remember that song in the anime meaning its likely ova only. Afaik the OST for them never came out...which is a shame. The songs i want from the OVA are the two songs that played during Ryoma and Kintaros match, Tezukas OVA theme (i like it even better than his anime theme),The theme that played when Yukimura is destroying Hyakuren as well. Most of the songs from the latter parts of the anime were never released which is just a big shame since some of them are so good.

Yeah it only appears during Krauser VS Kirihara, Kawamura VS Ishida. G and Atobe VS Mukahi/Shishido. <-- They are the definite ones I know it appears.
I just love PoT OST's for when I do sports at school haha.

The songs i want from the OVA are the two songs that played during Ryoma and Kintaros match,

this appears at the end of the Shitenhouji + Seigaku training session from the another story OVA's. That theme has a Honki Mode and Koutekishu feeling but its the only theme that is 2:00+ long lol.
Its the theme used for the first half of the Nationals Trailer. Badly want that for Sports haha.

Tezuka's anime theme appears in the OVA too. Its called Aitsu.

Yeah, Im also annoyed. I only have 60 of the OST's. Ive heard like 10 that havent been sold or released. I dont know why coz I agree some of them are amazing.

Ahh you mean the theme called Mysterious. That's Tezuka's other theme when he is off the court.
And yeah Atobe got Mission ASWELL as Itanji and Itanji-Kaisou. Atobe gets his very own theme named after him in Shin Prince of Tennis lol.
