I feel like hunting rabbits...
... Okay, maybe we aren't getting a PoT arcade fighter, but did you guys know that a lot of the moves used in PoT are moves taken from real life martial arts? Here's a thread where you can list them and this is what I've found thus far:
- Akutsu's Stance: Known as the "Spider Guard" in Jiu-Jitsu, I believe;
- Fuji's Tsubame Gaeshi: Tsubame Gaeshi is a classic technique move used by the samurai warriors of old and practicioners of swordplay;
- Kintaro's [Super Ultra Great Delicious Frenzy] Mountain Storm: Okay, so scratch the long first part of this technique's name and you're left with Mountain Storm, Yama Arashi, which is a legendary Judo technique;
Other than these, there are probably a lot more I haven't really thought to add, and there are the more obvious ones like the Shikuchi-ho of Higa Middle, but that's your guys' job. Have fun.

I'll never understand why Kadowaki Satoru is in the camp and Ishida Tetsu and Saeki Kojiro aren't.
Anybody who watched the anime before the manga will love Saeki. Also the filler where we got Fuji/Saeki VS Yanagi/Inui pair.
It was bullshit that Fuji/Saeki pair won by 6-4 but fun nonetheless.
I mean, Ishida has that Backhand Hadoukyuu thing. He'd kill Kadowaki since Ibu trivially beat him 6-1 and didn't look like he went he got serious at all.

http://z.mhcdn.net/store/manga/61/34...?v=11192708811 ) but not "useless". He was Rokkaku's best player (dunno how good of a feat that is, but it's something).
If you scroll down, there's a chart.
Tetsu (Fudo): obvious reasons (Hadous, Aura)... yeah there are probably a lot of power players but who cares, he deserves the place.
Akazawa (St. Rudolph): I understand why Yuuta is in the camp (Fuji's bro... I actually like him, I think he could have improved a lot in Seigaku -and I hope he goes there after this arc ends-) but WHY MIZUKI? I mean, Testu is out cause too many power players, and you give Mizuki (the worst Data player) a spot? Akazawa was their captain and it's higly probable that he would beat them any day (+ I'm almost sure that he's more popular than both of them).
Kiraku (Midoriyama): just cause. Midoriyama dissapeared.
Saeki (Rokkaku): he's good looking (fan service) he's cool (fan service) he's Fuji's old friend (...) he's popular and he was Rokkaku's best player (he's the only one that was decent against Higa... although we couldn't see Bane and David's match)...
Kentarou (Rokkaku): the only 1st year captain, he gave a fight and almost won against Kaidoh in Kanto... I mean he's not the best player around but he deserves some love ( )
Wakato and Kajimoto (Josei Shonan): A guy that copies real life tennis players? His captain, who had a serve faster than Kanto! Chotarou? They both look cool? Yes, please.
Koishikawa (Shiten): poor guy, not only he's his team vice-captain and no one respects him, he's the only player in his team that doesn't go to the camp (he couldn't even get to hit a ball)
Hayashi Shinya (Nagoya): ok, the guy is the captain of a team who reaches the Nation best 4, and Konomi just kills him and his teammates and brings some foreigners to play instead. The only one in his teamcalled to the camp is Krauser (one of those foreigners), meanwhile Konomi called full Hyotei, full Seigaku, full Rikkai and almost full Shiten... Not cool.
That way, there would had been 60 Ms in the camp. Considering that half of the Ms in the camp are fodders (like 200+ Hs) it wouldn't had been such a bother

It's from the same page I gave you ^^, the guy that translated the chat probably did it wrong (or probably, it was Yuushi introducing him in the party, insulting Saeki)

I saw 'useless handsome guy' in the anime (yakiniku episode) too. I don't remember who's the subber, but I remember Kikumaru/Yuushi saying 'This guy is quite uselessly handsome, isn't he?', so I think that's the correct translation. That episode was so fuuunnn. Everyone is insulting each other. Even Fuji and Tezuka became snarky. And hadoukyuu comes out of Gin's mouth, Chitose using Saiki, Inui's **** grilled, are just GOLD. The only complaint is Rikkai is not there.
And Rikkai wasn't there because they were the final boss, it would had been too off lol.
Btw, now that I think about it "Uselessly Handsome Guy" isn't something bad. He's in the "Action and speech type" chart. So, it would mean that he's a handsome guy that doesn't act like one, (for example, Atobe is an ego, Sengoku is always flirting, etc) he is just like any other guy.
Hardy, I laughed so hard at your post, how you kept emphasizing with bolds and font sizes. Well done.
