Re: What is your favourite subject?

This year's science teacher made my favourite subject (science) boring... so I'll have to say IT (my teacher is kinda emo, but I like his style...) and History (a period of laughter, he has Heavy Metal disks and he teases one of my classmate who likes Heavy Metal with them... )

Re: What is your favourite subject?

Throughout my 4 years of combined middle school and high school, I have found English and Spanish to be my favorite subjects with 20th century American history coming in at a close third.

    Hi AK11

So your brain works well with numbers and formulas and equations?

Was never too fond of math during school.

    I liked history myself.

Yeah for sureeee, history always bored me for some reason. It was hard as well, too many things to remember and memorize ;D + lazyness = not a good combo ;D

    anything interesting really,
english and writing are always fun, writing really challenges creativity.
history is endlessly interesting. history of a country, history of a person, history of the planet.
sciences are my favorite though, its the history and details of any subject. i really like biology, psychology, geology, etc.
but i really hate math, i think its boring as all hell. i normally do low average in math classes, i like geometry though, its ok.

Re: What is your favourite subject?

At the gymnasium (damn it's so hard with all these terms used for different school forms in different countries) my favorite subjects were Arts (not music though, I almost hated it!) and Biology.
Biology somewhat suited my style of thinking it seems, because I never had any trouble at beeing best in oral grades all the time without actually every looking at the materials outside school or even paying much attention to the class, rather playing cards in the last line. The logics used in biology just seemed incredibly easy to me and I kept wondering why so many people were struggling with it.

For a short time, I even liked math. Short historical recap of my history of maths: school year 1-4 I did very fine, I missed half of year 5 due to illness and started sucking at maths from then on. This continued until year 11, I practically had no clue of what's going on in class in these six years and didn't even know the basics of graphs or equations.
Then, in year 12 I suddenly just knew it. I can't explain it, because over all these years I never learned anything at home. I just suddenly grasped the logics used for all this mathematic stuff and shined for a year, until I lost intered in year 13 as I didn't have maths in abitur (final tests at the end of grade 13 in five chosen subjects).

    Other subjects I liked:
-English. This is another subject I didn't like in the beginning and sucked at, but around year 9 or 10 I suddenly had top grades in it all the time, after having played WoW for a year on an English server.
-Chemistry - I liked it sometimes, sometimes I hated it.
-Sports, depending on the form of sports. Up to year 12 I had really bad stamina and power resulting from an auto immune disease attacking muscles, but I still liked dexterity-oriented stuff like spear throwing, table tennis and most forms of sport with a ball involved.
-Geography and History. Once again, there were years I loved it and years I hated it, changing from teacher to teacher.

    subjects I rather hated:
    -Music
    -Politics
-Latin (there was one year I was suddenly good at it for no reason, but for the other years I hated it)
-Informatics - I even did that volunarily for year, but oh my gosh it's soooo boring!

All of this will result in engineering or chemistry possibly, or biology to switch over to medicine (as it's easier to get a university place in biology than directly in medicine), as I'm gonna start studying next year.

Mathematics is definitely the best! English comes next.

I love math principles and the way you manipulate expressions and equations, and you'll come up with still the same answers. It's amazing.

I'm an Exercise Science major; so that mostly lends itself towards anatomy and physiology, which I love dearly. Also first aid and injury care are interesting to me. I can't stand anything related to business/math/engineering. I hate physics too >__>

I really like P.E. but my school does not offer it for upperclassman (fail school). Almost always, I've found the life sciences to be my favorite. But something that I enjoy is learning foreign languages. My current focus is Castellano.
