On the one shot manga, I was thinking about them in real life, and like thought, how the hell are they U23...but then realised it was Yr2000!

As for Rivaul hitting bar, maybe its cuz of his injury? I see a Barce golden combi coming up...how old is Rivaul in RT2002?

It doesn't necessarily because of his injury. He was running towards his own goal when he ran to get the throw in. Then from that position he suddenly turned around and did a shoot, which is hard enough to get a good aim.

Well, no one says Rivaul can't miss

I'd say Rivaul is probably 28 or more, but that's just a guess.

Dynamic chapter with Barca's 3rd goal not far away now. Naturezza, Rivaul and Tsubasa all shined.

But after this kind of performance by both Natu and Rivaul (who we have yet to see at his best) I honestly can't see how Takahashi will twist things for Japan to win a future game against Brazil. Naturezza who is, in my opinion, slightly better than Tsubasa; Rivaul who is at least at Tsubasa's level, but has a lot more experience and Santana ... there's no way Japan should be able to win, unless either the Brazil squad gets hit by trucks or Japan find a few Rivaul's of their own

Well, me, on the other hand, can easily see it.

Even if the opponent is stronger, Tsubasa can win a duel eventually. No matter how many times they shoot, they'll have great troubles to score against Wakabayashi. With all their members and their teamwork, japan can do wonders (remember their first goal against Brazil...) Finally, many people in the team didn't reach their full potential yet.

Wow ,guys the new chapter is up.

thanx alot SHINJI for the early release ,and thanx alot for Natureeza for helping him.

the new chapter is great gust like chapter 19,but if rivaul and tsubasa can scoare that early after rivaul intering so, they will tie soon ,of course natureza won't let it happen that easily ,so i think

    1-rivaul will tie.
2-Natureza will scoare wz the help of his team, or maybe any other player will scoare wz the help of Nat.
3-goal for barca ( a twin shoot from tsubasa and rivaul...i hope ).
4-tsubasa will scoare the final goal ,making the scoare 6-5

p.s te no 2,3 could replace each other ,meaning barca could lead and RM tie.

Not that hard to predict, was it

Great build-up for the goal and some vintage Tsubasa-Misaki cooperation right there. The double overhead was nice, but it's not something out of the ordinary (when Tsubasa is concerned). Of course, as usual, I saw something that disappointed me a little. On page 4 there's one defender running beside Rivaul, number 24 ahead and number 16 on Tsubasa's side. On the next page, when Tsubasa leaves the ball, everyone is running with him! Why would number 16 leave his zone or the one coming next to Rivul switch to marking Tsubasa? For a normal team to make this mistake it's normal, but this is what we were constantly made to believe the Super Real Madrid. Also on page 6, where the hell is number 24 going? He completely let that pass go behind him, when he should be (considering the previous page) heading to mark Rivaul. I see a conspiracy for an easy Barca goal here !!!

And no, I don't take the above seriously, since Barca aren't supposed to lose in the spirit of the manga. The movement of the players mentioned above just seemed too unnatural.

    Thanks for the release Shinji

    You should take it seriously.
Because there's a good reason actually, for n°16, it's Flavio Conces. If you remember, he isn't supposed to use zone defense, he's supposed to mark Tsubasa. That's something similar to what happened when they switched their positions.

For the rest, well, I think that even if R Madrid has super players, this "Golden Combi" is just too fast for the players to react correctly. The attacking players are just going forward, moving almost naturally, while the defenders, when they start to realize the trick, must turn around and go back in confusion, or take time to reorganise, which would be too late.

I suggest to translate next one-shot is CT Road to 2002 FCRB opening match, because it short and easy.

No, they will be scanlated in order of publication, and also considering when they were published compared to the manga. So no FCRB before the end of Road to 2002.
