Wow, a very impressive week for Kuroko. It appears the series has truly arrived. Great to see Nisekoi selling so well too. 75,000 in the first week by volume 2 is very good to see.

Nisekoi 2 is really doing well!

Wasn't Nisekoi Vol 1 going to be reprinted?
Does anyone know how were the sales?

    Re: Weekly Oricon Comic Rankings

The second printing has long since come and gone. Understocking a new book is common practice, it saves the expense of printing to much of something not guaranteed to sell. A second printing is never large enough to effect chart position. The need for a second printing implied that their was some demand for volume 1, and that volume 2 should sell decently, that's all. It was a clue that Nisekoi would not be DOA like Kurogane and Magico.

Glad that Kuroko has been selling well, seems that the success of the anime is helping it out. Happy for Niesoki too.

I am new here so sorry for the noob question,

Saiyuki Reload Blast #1 (20,995 / 81,540), this means that it had already sold 81,540, and this week it sold another 20,995 right?

Nisekoi almost in 100k margin. Maybe possible in next month's tank.

    Re: Weekly Oricon Comic Rankings

I'm really glad to see Doubutsu no Kuni on the chart. I may just have missed it, but I haven't seen it chart in a while. Though the sales aren't anything spectacular, I guess they are good enough for the magazine it is in.

Doubutsu no Kuni is doing better. This is the highest it's ranked so far. I hope this means sales are good enough to merit getting an anime. Especially seeing as they serialized stuff nobody cares about like Joshiraku and that one with the long-dark-haired girl.

    Kangoku Gakuen doing well, too.
Kuroko's certainly booming, and Toriko's done the best it has by this point, as well.

I'd like to see a Dobutsu no Kuni anime, as well as a Choujin Gakuen one. I guess there's hope since Joshiraku got an anime, though that series is pretty much what the target anime demographic likes to see nowadays.

It's cool to see Hallelujah Overdrive doing well. At least SOMETHING in Gessan that isn't El parisio (or whatever it's name is.) is selling decently. It's not enough to save Bullet Armors, but I'd really like to see Gessan be a bit more popular than it is.

I'm also pleased to see Halleluja Overdrive in Oricon charts (it's second time I think). You forgot about Nobunaga Concerto (#6 - 73,877 /10 days) and Tetsugaku Letra (#2 - 24,560 /4 days) this two also have good sales, and Q&A had of course. I think Takewo-chan Bukkairoku, Hitoribocchi no Chikyuu Shinryaku and MIX of course have potential to sell nice
Hitoribocchi was even in top 100 amazon ... yeah I know amazon isn't good source for this kind of things, but it only prove that this manga have potential to be in oricon ranking next time
I would love to see more manga from Gessan getting scanlated. Recently Tetsugaku and Halleluja got scanlated.
    Sorry for my English -.-

Nisekoi is almost at the 100,000 mark and Kuroko volumes are doing pretty well. Congrats.

Hm, I did forget about Nobunaga. I don't personally read it, but It does get pretty high accolades from people, and I think it won an award. Testsugaku Letra is on break like every other issue, lol. I like the art style though, and it's pretty good as a slice of life manga. Takewo is a lot of fun. If 6 trigger doesn't work out I'd probably turn to translating that if Gintama or another one of my ongoing series ends. Hitoribocchi is also pretty interesting, though to be honest since I've not read the first chapter I don't really know what it's about.

There's one other series that gets pretty good press from 2ch (which means basically nothing), I forgot the name of it though, I know it's about a girl from the future. (The name is really really long.) It's kind of funny, but not something I'd seriously consider buying tanks for or something. Oh and 6 trigger is doing decently as well, I think.

Gessan is a pretty awesome mag. If I had time to scan, I'd so translate a few things out of it and offer the raws to scantlators.
