New titles aside, I guess this is a good sign for international manga fans when the company itself asks for their feedback.

And since I can't browse the website for being non-American, do they have any Viz titles?

I have also posted this news here

Anyway, it seems, that JManga published till now only Yuri-, Josei- and Shojo-Mangas. Or I´m wrong ?

If not, then they should just add some Shounen-/Seinen-Mangas. They could also add some Manhwa/Manhaus^^

JManga sucks. The industry really dropped the ball on that one. Trying to get 30 competitors to cooperate was a beautiful idea but never realistic.

If the list is indeed void of shonen, it's weird how they wouldn't include it since it would be a huge popularity booster. It's also silly not to include other places such as Asia or Europe; manga is just as popular there as it is in North America.

JManga as a concept just seems too idealistic imo. It may work in a selfless, utopian world, but in a capitalist society where companies are trying to outdo the other? Unlikely.

Exactly. It's an idea that must have sounded great when they trying to get rid of Onemanga but when it actually came time to pool money.... not so much.

For Parisians, the centre pompidou makes a manga cycle at the moment until the end of may.
The anime classics are almost all programmed other much less known too, some documentaries and a few conferences with mangaka.
2500 mangas are available at the library, for those courageous enough to confront the traditional queue of the BPI.

Hikaru Nakamura will resume serialization of Saint Young Men in issue 56 of Morning 2, available March 22. She will resume serialization of Arakawa Under the Bridge in issue 8 of Young Gangan, available April 6. Both manga went on hiatus in September, due to Nakamura taking maternity leave.

"Resident Evil" Manga Debuts in "Weekly Shonen Champion" Magazine

    Quote Quote:
Weekly Shonen Champion isn't quite as well-known in the US as, say, Weekly Jump or Shonen Sunday, but it's still chock-full of awesome shonen action titles--mainly ones that veer a little to the dark side. While Jump has Yu-gi-Oh! with its fun and generally safe-for-all-ages card battles, Champion had Chaosic Rune, with vicious card-monster combat where the bad guys (and oftentimes the good guys) rarely made it out in one piece.

It's in that spirit that Champion brings a new Resident Evil manga (whose one-shot prologue appeared in Capcom's own magazine), Resident Evil: Maruhawa Desire. The series takes place in an island school where a student has mysteriously turned into a zombie, starting an outbreak.
BSAA advisor Doug and his assistant Ricky head to the island to investigate--Chris Redfield and other BSAA members are reported to make appearances as well.

I've always been a fan of Resident Evil, and since I'm still hyped from the recent release of Resident Evil: Revelations, I'd love to see this get a US release. What about you?

Re: General Manga News and Announcements

Who is that Akuma[SF]-like SD character from the cover or what manga is he from?

What would one expect from a RE manga, but being promo for the upcoming games... I hope it has a good plot at least, as I can mindlessly slaughter zombies in video games too. Got to finally try reading Saru Lock by the same author.

    OMG!

As a huge RE fan, I'm stoked for this adaptation. The artwork is beyond gorgeous, and I hope the story will be just as great.

The caption above the title logo says, "New official story!!" meaning this manga will be canon but not based on any game.
