Last Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan Manga Volume to Bundle Anime DVD

This year's 50th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine is announcing on Monday that the limited edition of Hiroshi Shiibashi's 25th and final Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan manga volume will bundle an anime DVD on March 4, 2013. Shiibashi himself is supervising this new anime project which will tell the anticipated secret origin of the Nura clan. The limited edition will also include an exclusive postcard. The first anime DVD to be bundled with the manga will arrive with the 24th manga volume next month.




Shiibashi launched his three-chapter Aoi Rasen-Jō Saishū Kessen (Aoi Spiral Castle's Final Battle) story arc of the manga in the Summer issue of Shonen Jump Next! in August. The second chapter debuted in the Fall issue last month, and the final chapter will run in the Winter issue.

Viz will publish the 12th volume of the manga's original Weekly Shonen Jump run in North America next month; Hisashi Sasaki, deputy director of Shueisha's Shonen Manga Group and a former Weekly Shonen Jump Editor-in-Chief, said that "we will make sure" that the Shonen Jump Next! sequel run will be available in English as well.

Viz Media also streamed the two television anime series with English subtitles in North America. Viz's Neon Alley service is streaming the English dub of the anime onto PlayStation 3 consoles.

Shūmatsu no Rafter by Kekkaishi's Tanabe Previewed

This year's 51st issue of Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine will launch Yellow Tanabe's newest manga series on November 21.



Shūmatsu no Rafter takes place in a peaceful city, some years after the death of a "white devil." However, a group of demons appear one day. One man can beat them — a demon eater.

The new manga will be Tanabe's first series in one and a half years after she ended Kekkaishi.

Weekly One Piece Newspaper Runs for 1 Month

For four weeks, Nikkan Sports Shinbun-sha is publishing a special Shūkan One Piece Shimbun (Weekly One Piece Newspaper) for 300 yen (about US$3.60). Each issue has about 28 full-color, tabloid-sized pages with child-friendly content. The first issue includes an extended interview with the manga's creator and One Piece Film Z executive producer Eiichiro Oda, a "tell-all" discussion with the manga's editor, voice cast interviews, and oversized illustrations.

The first Shūkan One Piece Shimbun issue went on sale on Thursday at major Japanese convenience stores and train station newsstands. It is also sold at the One Piece Mugiwara Store located in Tokyo's Shibuya ward, the Mugiwara Store Osaka at the One Piece Exhibition that opened at Osaka's Tenpōzan Gallery on November 24, and ASA outlets nationwide. Issues are available via mail order for a higher 450-yen (US$5.50) price.

Kuroko's Basketball Creator: Will Continue Manga "No Matter What"

In 2013's first issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine which ships on Monday, Kuroko's Basketball creator Tadatoshi Fujimaki wrote in his author's note that he will keep working on the manga without a break "no matter what." The magazine is announcing that the Kuroko's Basketball events at next month's Jump Festa have been cancelled. A string of threat letters with powdered and liquid substances have been sent to locations tied to the manga and its creator since last month, and they have resulted in cancelled events into next year.

One Piece Creator Eiichiro Oda: I Sleep From 2 To 5 A.M.

In the second issue of Nikkan Sports Shinbun-sha's Shūkan One Piece Shimbun (Weekly One Piece Newspaper) on Thursday, One Piece manga creator Eiichiro Oda reported that he wakes up in the morning at 5:00 a.m. and works until 2:00 a.m. after midnight. He usually sleeps from 2:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m.

He said earlier that what he enjoyed most about being a manga creator is the chance to meet people such as Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama. He added that he does not take any time off, even though he would like to go on a family trip — or go anywhere outside.

The January 2013 issue of monthly Shounen Sirus debuted a new weekly series today titled " 2 x Bone"



The story revolves around a group of teenagers who will battle/fight along side gentecially created monster orgnaisims called Kight Kokkaku.

The January 2013 issue of Monthly Dengeki ephedra, which was released today on November 27, premiered 5 new series based on several game franchises, Tales of Xillia 2, Disgaea D2 Road to Lord , ROBOTICS;NOTES", unpublished memoirs of Misa, and 2 Persona series loosly based and featuring characters from some of the game installments Persona 4 arena and Tartarus Theater.

A new one shot by Kanako Tanaka "Dr. Spector" was In the volume 12 issue of Grand Jump released today in Japan the story is set in the meji era and centers a round a small village where once every eight years a human sacrifice is offered to pleases a god. However a young philosipher denies this existance and searches to reveal just what a true montser this said god is.



The January 2013 issue of Zero Sum premiered a new series titled "Hyakka record" it is a Chinese fantasy centered around a master astrolger tasked with the duty of readings for the country altho he actually has no fortune telling ability.





A new manga series titled Obitaria empire started in the January 2013 issue of Young King released in Japan today the theme centers around giant robots and a boy who has a reacurring dream of meeting a strange girl. pics

Neither weekly nor online. Shounen Sirius is a monthly print magazine. Sirius does have an associated online magazine here, but 2xBone will be in the print magazine.

2 x bone is going to be serialized to my understanding I will double check with translator I know some pics are unrelated I just felt like posting it since that's the months issue news is from. Shingeki no Kyojin anime briefly listed. A full announcement is expected on December 8, with Wit Studios (a Production I.G. subsidiary) producing and Araki Tetsuro (Death Note) directing.

Manga creator Rei Hiroe announced on Monday that he will "finally" resume his Black Lagoon manga in Shogakukan's Sunday GX magazine in January or February. The manga has been on hiatus since the middle of 2010.

The 12 issue Issue of Miracle Jump released December 27th premiered a new original 14 page story by FUJISAKI Ryu creator of the popular horror manga turned anime Shiki, titled "Rain and Sarutahiko" the story revolves around a white haird rain priestest (Pictured on the cover issue below) who has the ability to revive souls of the dead.

THe Febuary 2013 issue of Young King debuted a new series titled "Trans Solenoid"

「トランスノイド」は、未来世界を舞台にしたサイバーアクション。とある事情から追われる身の青年が、不思議な男に助けられたことから始まる物語だ。過去に内藤泰弘の「トライガン・マキシマム」などサイバーアクションの傑作を送り出してきたアワーズだけに、新作SFの開始には期待が高まる。

It's a cbyer action story set in a future world following a young youth who is fleeing from authorites for unknow circumstances he ends up being saved by a stranger and the two set off on an adventure ET Style! see what I did there cause of the bike and the moon space pic *caugh* *caugh* k enough of that pretty blunt summary leaving out much dicription such as characters names but you get the gist of it I dont pretend to be a pro translator so if someone wants to give a proper translation much aprreciated..
