    Re: worked on a page

You might want to just upload the pages to a different host and post the links here. It's easier than scrolling up and down to look at the page.

Yup, I can definitely see that you've done the essentials. The borders are nice and organized, though really you should be using the 'line' tool, or the more common 'pencil'. The brush gives the borders more of a round appeal, while the pencil gives the sharp and HQ appeal.

I kind of want to know what steps you took to reach the second page, because it really still looks like it's in the 'precleaned' stage.

If you followed a lot of the tuts on this site they provide you with exactly what to do when precleaning and how to get into the cleaning stage (which is pretty much fixing up the artwork).

It seems like you could've gone further with your leveling, the page still has that 'blurred' effect you get from being raw, unless you were scared to overlevel. It's just that the borders are much darker than any of the other blacks making them stand out.

You can go ahead and paintbucket the outside of the borders with a white fill, so that you get all the the leftover specks.

Other than that I find it pretty impressive. Because you had a nice raw to begin with there wasn't so much work involved. I'd still stay that you should level even-more-so with the blacks, and the whites even, to make it at least sharp enough to reach an 'anti-aliased' appeal.

If you want to find a nice HQ tutorial than there are some amazing ones here on this site. Poke around a bit more. Again, great job, more time spent makes the page look even better.
