Poor Saeki? Maybe the only man in Prince of tennis with no special abilities (except being Fuji's friend and very popular for fangirls), shots and a character that had lost all of his singles matches (http://mangahelpers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=52418)?
Minami-Higashikata was stated to be a National level doubles, so it's fair to have them. And Akutsu and Sengoku deserved screentime

Mmm, Sengoku VS Momo Round 2, as several of you predicted. Sounds good, but compared to the Kazuya-Oni-Koshimae-Kintaroh it's nothing...XD

Yeah, but I meant from the perspective that Saeki was so hyped up and was then so disappointing. He lost his chance at redemption. Rokkaku just always seems to get the short end of the stick.

I completely agree about Minami and Higashitaka being deserving, I'll give no argument there.

    Yay.

Most the people who got invited are just more well known players. I mean the Jimmies lost to some unknown pair from Nagoya and they got replaced by foreigners. None of them made it to the camp. Why the hell did St Rudolph even make it to the camp when they couldnt make it to Kantou is a good question.

    I don't make Inui juice :S

Remember one of those Afterschool manga where Mizuki makes "Inui Juice" good tasting juice? And then Akazawa says if its good Inui Juice it isnt Inui Juice?

Well, St. Rudolph missed out on Kantou, but keep in mind that they come from the strongest Prefecture in the country; having to play against both Seigaku and Hyoutei is no joke. I would take St. Rudolph above Midoriyama, even though the latter made it all the way to the Nationals.

And Mizuki was beaten only by people like Fuji and Atobe. I think he's a good player, better than middle class like almost the whole Rokkaku or even a few Hyotei's (Hiyoshi, Gakutoh or even, in singles, Shishido or Choutaroh). Data tennis seems to be really useful (look to Yanagi and Inui, they are maybe the third and the fourth best players of the two most powerful teams)
And it's nice to see your comments again, Fayte, where have you been?

Yeah, Mizuki is a character I thought was pretty good. Just bad luck.

And Sai banned me for a month because I used a Chinese scan.

Back on topic guys...you're not actually supposed to discuss things like that (members being banned or the reasons for example)

Indeed. On FTST Mizuki is actually pretty good. Above-average.

I played as him just to wipe the floor around, and ask my opponent for a free serve on his service game. That was pure gold.

    By the way.

The Jimis lost their doubles to the Japanese Nagoya Seitoku players. So tell me why they should be on the camp rather than them. Don't tell me it's because of their individual skills. Their doubles skill is what makes them ... unique... and still, they lost at doubles to nobodies. They suck, plain and simple.

And they weren´t the best pair of Nagoya, remember than Japan players were supposed to be worse than the Europeans guys of the Semifinal...

Well, the Jimmis were stated to be National Level Doubles. And they lost only 6-4. It's the only explanation. And it would be very weird if Nagoya's National players appear in the Tournament, after no screentime and been substituted in SFs.

The conclusion is that the next best doubles after the ones of Seigaku, Hyotei and Rikkai should be Jimmis. And they are supposed to be better than other doubles pair who played in the Nationals, like Funny Pair (because Hitouji isn´t in the camp), Higa's Doubles 1, Rokkaku's Saeki & Itsuki...

That's my point, there's no little evidence that shows the Jimis are better than the others. Much to the opposite. So, they're weaker than both Nagoya's Japs and foreigners.
