It seems this thread is being "dead" for a few months now.. but i couldn't help but writing I was randomly re-reading some combat chapters. and - once again it just hit me, when Elder Kwon was fighting on the street with goth bi*** and masked guy... that This Manhwa is just so fffffffuuucccc*&*^%$# EPIC!!!!
Good day to all of you.. Cheers
It would be a sin not to remind that for a while. So i took the role this time
Thanks for bumping the thread.
The first thought that invaded my mind is a question. What do you guys / gals think about the current story? Does it have the same awesomeness as part I?
well part 1 is more like GMR's lime light rather than Shioon and nearing the end of part 1 the transition from GMR's story to Shioon is fine
but in NW Shioon's awesomeness is always overshadowed by this fact " Become a Zombie to Win" at first on part 1 is fine but in NW waves it happen in Shioon's major fights and it become lame it's like watching Star Wars Phantom Menace 100x and it becomes a torture
i hope the new arc will put the Zombie to Win to rest and Shioon become a Boogeyman like GMR to the MMA
He becomes a zombie, because he has got not enough martial art training, he has no basic knowledge. of course every strong guy beat him half to death... but he has stamina, and spirit.
Yeah, Part I was way better. Not saying New Waves is bad at all, but it seriously lacks Chun Woo Han and proper fights for Shioon.
They should train him for a month at least!
This summarises all that i have to say:
as at 10-10-2013
this thread is purely speculation/theory hear me out please
i hope you guys are familiar with the mythology (balance of power) the dragon and the tiger (yin and yang) that's is also reference in the breaker
well beside that reference
i have found a new symbolism that i did not see before
i believe the four beast are characters in the Breaker
Yi Shioon = Azure/ Blue Dragon
Huyk So Cheon = White Tiger
Sosol = Red Phoenix
Shi ho lee / Chun woo Han = Black Tortoise
let me know what you think

I don't think that was actually explained in the manhwa..
Won-Jae Hyun was doing scheduled Ki revival sessions with Shiwoon after the crazy Ki Medicine fiasco. I believe it was during this time that Shiwoon wanted to go back to school while his Ki center was being healed by the One Moon School. After the explosion, Elder Jeong performed a healing technique as Shiwoon was dying from the damage Ryuji had caused to him. This last transfer of Ki from Elder Jeong may have kick started Shiwoon's Ki center and begun the Overhaul Rebirth which the ghost doctor Ju Sang-Sik acknowledges. Shiwoon is then now faster and basically a full fledged Ki user again and has elevated sensory perception.
No one has definitely said "His Ki center is back," but most still believe it is still broken besides those in the Sunwoo clan because they have not seen Shiwoon fight. I think the Ghost doctor's lines during that episode are the clearest indicator that Shiwoon has basically returned much stronger than he was before.
It's a common trope in manga/manwha, maybe that's a more accurate translation of the "4 supernovas" of the murim instead of the characters you propose.
Super short version:
The clan leader doctor that's obsessed with Shiho fixed his ki center. Several dozen chapters ago.
Shioon has had his ki back ever since then. All through the school battle, too. The only issue then was the stability of his ki center. It's a bit like having a broken arm--his ki center was put back together, but it was still just healing. It was supposed to rest and receive lots more treatment before it was fully usable again, but it was there and functional.
Then his insane healing from the pill he took, Elder Jun, and the Rebirth stuff fixed the rest.
Northern Black Star = Black Tortoise = Ma Mun-gi
Southern Red Star = Vermilion Bird = Yi Gyu-Bum
Western White Star = White Tiger = Kwon Young
Eastern Azure/Blue Star (i speculate that this is his/her title) = Azure Dragon = 4th Supernova
A news I have just seen, the two authors will be present at a convention (Japan Touch) in France the 30 November and 1st of December.
So it's possible that a chapter won't be released this week and/or next week.
Yeah, if they are going it'll be a couple of weeks off. You know, just for a change of pace, maybe they should release while they are there... Live? Probably too many distractions though.
