I read "1000 arms goddess of mercy" like at the end of the trailer.
Thanks for the video.
Whoooah!the BgM rockzzzzz
^ i can't really read Japanese so thank you for deciphering that
Saw a split second of a pair of the Buddha feet. Hongo Kanata is too awesome from what I see so I'm pretty sure I'll be loving Nishi instead of hating him. damn.
I hope the CG won't turn out as horrible like Death Note's. I have a feeling they are filling this movie with great young actors to make up for the possible CG fail.
"Gantz website: There will be a special 1 minute infomercial aired with images of the making. The filming of Gantz will be shortly completed and filming of the large scale production has progressed without any incident. CG will be added to the live action images, since it will be awhile since you can watch it...we have created a infomercial!
This will be aired on 03/25 NTV 26:43 on "Burn Notice"show. Also aired on 04/08 & 04/22 "
20th Century Boys CG can fit it. Hope they use costumed aliens and not only CG aliens.
Another video of the set, this time focusing on Ninomiya.
Not optimistic on this movie, especially after seeing the teasers.
I really liked the teaser. I was at first hesitant because the actors - especially Nishi, who may or may not be my favorite character - seemed like inapropriate choices. The teaser trailer looked pretty good to me though. I actually changed my mind on whoever plays Nishi after it.
I thought that all characters fit in, especially Kishimoto and Nishi, did'nt like Kato though, I will probably go into watching it thinking it's going to suck, but maybe I will be surprised.
1. NO PROBLEM WITH GORE
2. WILL GET GOOD ACTORS.
3. BE TRUE TO THE STORYLINE

GAT-X252: It's a fan chart, they're not the official cast.

I've read comments on how cheap the teaser looked but it only featured the raw making offs footage to whet our appetite. The Buddha battle seems to be the most prominent scene and I don't think team Reika will be featured in the first installment yet.
Seriously can't wait. I want an international release.
It really depends on the skill of the team doing the special effects. You can have the biggest budget in the world and still make it shit (Transformers!). You can also have relatively low budget films with scenes that'll simply blow you away.
Remember that the similarity and resemblance of the actors to the characters of the manga is not so important, in a lot of movies inspired by comics actors look different from their comics counterparts, and also the most of us don't know a thing about japanese movies/actors and can't express an opinion that goes beyond the mere appearance.
The most important thing (for me) is to choose skilled actor and the cast, at least until now, was well chosen.
If my word doesn't count try reading this article by CNN: http://www.cnngo.com/tokyo/none/japa...#ixzz0jAUm5m4S
Both Nino and Yuriko are listed. Kenichi Matsuyama won the Best Actor for 64th Mainichi Film Awards
If the movie still fail, I doubt it's because of the acting. These actors got skills.
Sorry for the rant, but just saw that njt edit on the Gantz live action article. The fact he didn't update on the cast bothers me.
so what dou you guys think. I spy a vampire and Tanaka alien.
Also one hot looking woman, a possible new character perhaps?
That Izumi scene on the train.. my man Kurono is doing it now I guess. LOL YES.
