He's one of the best Manga Characters of all time! And i hate those people who say that Naruto is just a dumb, lucky-to-be-sealed-with-the-kyuubi kid. They're simply blind and there are too many of them. I really don't see any reason to hate Naruto! And I don't know why they're trying so hard to defame Naruto's Character, but it actually lifts my sympathy for Naruto!
Someday, he will dumbfound them all!

true, very true, naruto is a born fighter and his childhood raised the stakes of his challenge in life, he was able to face it all, he has talent and obviously his instincts are those of a fighter and he was always able to think fast and get out of dire situations, like you said , one day he will dumbfound them all and the pleasure of that moment for me in the manga will be enormous, cant wait.

Oh, and btw, you know your Kyubii picture from the 360 ? It's a concept art, meaning it probably won't look anything like that when coded and modelized into the game. It's just to give the model-people an idea of what a "kyubii" is.
So basicly, it's a drawing and has nothing to do with the final graphix of the game.

harrr, to bring a little post into this topic onto the topic why yondaime can't be narutos father...
for one it would simply neglect all what kishimoto had naruto say about changing fate, because as the child of the yondaime he would've been coming from a 'genius'- or at least a very well respected family too.
furthermore, if he would've been the child of the fourth he would for sure have been told that by iruka a long time ago, just to lift up naruto's feeling of self-worth.
not only iruka would know that then, but the rest too and thus jiraiya. he may be able to keep such a thing for himself, but he would at least have thought 'as expected of his son'.

thus my conclusion, naruto can't be the fourth hokage's son. it would just throw over the story and make things really lame.
naruto got to be the son of some up till there not well known persons even in the village unknown. maybe they weren't even from the village, but just recently came there to search for a place to stay and yondaime let them stay there. hell, it might even have been pure coincedence that naruto was near the sealing area and the yondaime didn't care about it and just said 'may the kyuubi protect this kid, which the village shall celebrate as a hero' but noone listened to him because naruto came from the outside, no one but the sandaime who was the only one who cared.
after the sandaime used that supposedly same jutsu as the fourth it still is a total mystery why naruto became the vessel anyway. either the scene must've been totally funny or he used a slight variation of that technique - plot-conform-shinigami no jutsu.

the points i made may be too little to be counted as evidence, but essentially they could even bear heavier a meaning than choujis doublesize-jutsu creates weight.

well your proof is quite complex, I dont know, naruto being the son of yondaime or not was left open, but we know why he lived his life like he had, becuase he was a jinchuriki, an no good is expected of a jinchuriki, why many ( even me) think naruto is yondaime's son, there is a lot of evidence, you said the plot would be lame if that turned out to be true, but thats not necessarilly true, it doesnt have to be father son in a straight forward manner, maybe naruto is a result of an experiment like yamato, or...
the debate just keeps going on, but anyway the place for this discussion is the yondaime mega convo in the naruto toshokan not here, were discussing naruto here as fans in a non official fan thread.

umm, I think he already knows that, and with yamato there I think that all of that is covered, so I dont think there is a problem, about sasuke going cursed seal two, I wouldnt recommend that for sasuke's sake, and also orochimaru wouldnt like his future body damaged, but if he does, its not that much difference, its just a boost in power, naruto is the king of boosts in power, his last loss to sasuke was the level of techniques not much more, but in power I think he could have kept up, and the last fight wasnt really a fight, it was ameeting gone bad, I think next time we can see alot more fighting and more of naruto's capabilities.

you have a point there...
but whats more dangerous than sasuke cs-lvl2 is the kyuubi in himself...
think of naruto fighting equal with sasuke and the kyuubi suddenly being able to break the seal while they fight, because naruto uses so much chakra and all. that wouldn't only be dangerous for the surroundings, but also for naruto himself.
thus i think the immediate goal while he has to train isn't sasuke but the kyuubi. because yamato can only supress the kyuubi till a certain level... and only when he is in immediate reach... what if he gets occupied by a battle too? that's very likely and at the same point a worst case scenario with the weakening seal.

so yeah, naruto must once and for all force the kyuubi into submission pretty soon... maybe even kill it and get rid of it that way.

naruto shall be able to fight equal with sasuke cs-lvl2 without the kyuubi or at least without a kyuubi tail after he manages to get nearly perfect control of his chakra - something jiraiya for sure never taught as he taught him only how to handle enormous chakra-amounts which ended in the four-tails minikyuubi.
kazerasengan and such stuff are only steps on the way to it... and probably kazerasengan will be very effective against the kyuubi, because you can't really miss it.

Every thread needs a controversy to keep people posting. Let's me pick up from what ttxdragon has said...

In my opinion, Naruto and the 4th are related. It IS something Kishi wanted people to predict and made obvious.

Kishi places a lot of emphasis on the clan or the family names: "Uchiha", "Sarutobi", "Hyuuga". That means "Uzumaki" would mean something. Also, the Fourth(the hero who saved the village) name is concealed. Kishi made no one mention of it. Even the First Hokage has a family. I think the Fourth was an Uzumaki.

The Fourth's appearance was way too similar to that of Naruto. Even in real life, children tend to resemble some physical/facial features of their parents/siblings. From how Kishi told the Naruto Anime makers to portrait Naruto closely to the 4th to how Jiraiya described Naruto of physically resembling the 4th is no mere coincidence.

The Naruto doesn't have to be a genius-like to be related to the 4th. In fact, we have seen only the 4th in action at his prime so we have no idea how weak was he when he was younger. Likewise, we can't tell how strong/genius Naruto will be at his prime, at least not yet.

To suggest that the 4th would randomly pick a baby and seal the Kyuubi seems unlikely. What is the probability that you pick a baby within a mile radius of where you are, even in such a dense city, that the baby will have the many highly similar physical features of yourself as if he is your sibling or son?


So I believe there are three possible relations:

1) The 4th is Naruto. The 4th somehow developed a special sealing jutsu to seal Kyuubi, the god of death wasn't good enough. It sealed Kyuubi in 4th, the effect turns 4th into a baby. The baby then falls from a certain height, hits his head with a rock and loses his memory. Sure sounds like DragonBallZ. Of course, before sealing the Kyuubi the Fourth told the Third to take care of him.

2) The Fourth is Naruto's father. 4th seals Kyuubi into Naruto. Then the 4th dies due to his injuries. This is complicated because people would want to ask if Naruto's mother is alive.

3) The Fourth is Naruto's brother. It's like how Itachi is to Sasuke. It's just that the age gap would be slightly bigger. I think I will go with this because it seems exciting if Naruto is the brother of the 4th Hokage.

nice of you to drop in bax, tell you what, about naruto battles, they are getting a lot better aren't they, he's making a huge jump in the technical part of jutsu, I think its going to be better from now on, but I disagree with you, I do like naruto battles, becuase they seem to bring up what you said he represents mostlt in battels, hope and bravery are shown when someone needs to be in despair or afraid, and naruto always shines in battles, about the pics, we'll be waiting, a mod shouldnt go back on his word, not becuase it his ninja way, becuase he will be downsized and loose his place as amod , you better be fast bax the clock is ticking
