^Agree. Mago and Toriko will get 52 episodes then most likely renewed for a second year, assuming they are semi successful. 26 episode manga adaptions are usually reserved for series that air late at night and more obscure series. The former applies to both Neuro and ToRa. Hatsukoi was fully adapted after 12 episodes, as said Renkin had already been canceled before the anime even began.
In keeping with the current topic, it was announced that the Bakuman anime will only be 25 episodes long. Disappointing, but that's how it goes I guess.
Also, I'm assuming Black Cat was not popular then because the anime aired after the manga had completed and still got a poor adaptation.

Just 25 episodes is a shame, but I guess that means it will be pretty strait forward with no fillers. Though parts will probably have to be taken out to fit that amount of episodes.
Bakuman is going to be a bit of an exception. It is running on the NHK's educational channel (seriously) who I presume do not air a lot of anime for teens/young adult. A 50+ episode adaption seems to be a bit much for that station. There is always the possibility of a second season with continued success. I personally prefer 12 - 26 episode seasons that just get renewed for extra seasons (like Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei). That cuts down on all the fillers.

It looks like Ane Dokii will be out on this round of cancellation. Also, I think Hokenshitsu has more possiblity than Rilienthal to be go out, plus there is more hope for Medaka to survive this round, too.
Sket Dance is getting another drama cd, but still no news for animation.
Now, Bleach is getting consecutive colours. I'm going to wonder which series going to get consecutive colours after Bleach.

Bleach month huh, I guess Naruto will be next...
Shinigami seems to be in danger, Ane is almost confirmed, unless the 50K sale was good enough.
glad to see Bakuman, Psyren and many others all out of bottom 5.
I can't really imagine a Inumaru X TLR collab.... (by the way is that Inu for Inumaru or Rilienthal?)
I don't care for the consecutive Bleach colors at all. What other series is left that can get it after wards? That only leaves Naruto and possibly Toriko. Maybe Mago if they are finally willing to take it to that level.
Another Sket drama CD. It would be nice if it could get an anime in the fall but I guess we will see how that plays out.
Rilienthal just barely missed escaping the bottom 5 this time. Medaka isn't in the worst of positions but it definitely could be better.
Hokenshitsu is likely to be the next victim at this rate. Ane doki continues to be last but we will see how it fairs when the time comes. If it continues to sell well that may spare it.
The two new series should also be ranked by the time that HunterxHunter issue rolls around. Should be interesting to see if they tank or manage to hang. I'm also curious about how long this marathon of one shots is planned to go on for.
