See, living in AK is a double bladed sword. People are either like, "Oh cool! Alaska sounds neat." or they say, "Why the hell are you in Alaska? Move back to Los Angeles!" 

Norway would definitely be a great place to visit...I hear you guys have a fair amount of decent skiing 

I actually had relatives living in Alaska, although they moved back to North Carolina. They lived in a place called Skagwat, and they could only get out of there by flying or shipping. I thought that was funny when I heard about it. Apparently, my cousin Paige didn't like that, though - she was very homesick, so she and her husband (who moved there for business reasons) came back. But it was a very beautiful place from the pictures I saw.
