Just a friendly reminder pertaining to the previous post. There are only several days to support the production of Kick-Heart. They already successfully raise around US$140.000 to support the project. If you're interested in Masaaki Yuasa's project, and willing to spend some of your fortune, I'd advise you to visit this page.

Any Sengoku Basara anime fans here? I watched the movie The Last Party today. I enjoyed it. It wasn't epic but it was entertaining. I liked how the continued from Season 2.

It was fun at times, Masamune's seiyu was a nice extra. Watched the series, but only played the first game.

The last battles were grander than the two sequels. Decent fights and some old faces resurfacing.

Say, can anyone tell me when, if an anime movie is released in theaters in Japan, the average time it would take for it to be released on TV or DVD. There are loads of anime movies released this year, and I want an estimate to how long it might take before I can see them myself.

Normally BluRays release come out around 6 months after the Movie was released in theaters. The time estimation may in fact be faster or slower, just make sure you get the date of the BD release of the Anime and hopefully the fansub groups are doing it fast enough to do the translation.

Six to twelve months, so you can just look up the moetron anime season flyer from a year ago and watch those movies, something I planed to do too. Which would mean Mardock Scramble part 2 is out now.

Difficult to answer, but what did you like about Gurren Lagann? The characters? The story? The mecha? The usual WOW EPIC ANIME scream?

The Characters and story were awesome.
    The mecha were pretty good.
But yeah, the epic anime scream is the answer

I would say... Code Geass. If you haven't watched it yet. Along with Gundam 00. Those were the anime I remember that made waves here in MH.

You've got a list of already seen series/movies? Of course there is the Gainax classic Top wo Nerae!/Gun-/Diebuster OVA. Can't really say that your specification of what you like made it any more easier to think of something.

Good/crazy dialogues? Action packed? Plot driven? Some more info and people will gladly help.

A list would help, but just for the sake of pushing Watanable and the EPIC scream I would say Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo might suit Ghan well.^^

That question is impossibly hard to answer.....

If your looking for a epic anime with strong characters with mecha. Code Geass is your best option. Behind that I would say Eureka Seven...I guess.

Neither series is similar in the over-the-top spirit and brilliant dialogue, if your looking for that Katanagatari or Gintama would be the only things that come close. But Gintama is much more comedy oriented so Katanagatari might be your best bet.
