I don't use Crunchyroll. For my purposes, Crunchyroll does not give me anything that fansubs do not. If I traveled, I would subscribe in order to get anime on phone. For my PC, CR does not do me any good. Most of the good fansub groups are almost as fast, or are reposting from CR anyway.

I use Crunchyroll, but only because it allows me to watch anime on my big screen through my Roku player. I hate sitting in front of the computer to watch shows. I don't pay for a subscription though, so I have to wait a week longer than subscribers for new episodes. I can't justify paying when last season I only watched 3 shows(HxH, Space Bros, Chihayafuru).

well to me its convenient because there are NO POP UPS

yes it is 12$ per month, but that is a small price to pay for the volume of anime i have been watching
plus entire long series like naruto, bleach and gintama are available for when i want to go back and watch them, or show them to someone new

its way cheaper than buying all of those box sets

if i knew some really good fansub websites that didnt have popups i would probably get rid of CR
but as of now, i am sticking with it, because i know the site is safe/virus free, and there are no pop up ads

i just wish some of the series were updated sooner

I don't stream, so pop ups are not a worry. I torrent direct from the subbers, and track releases on tokyotosho. I've never been a big fan of streaming (or read online), I don't like dimension constraints. I'd stream if I had no other choice, but that is not the case. I'll probably get CR for my phone at some point, but I don't really need it at the moment. CR makes you pay for mobile service.

but Tokyotosho isn't too updated, I noticed... or... if you're looking for old files, you can't find them there either.

Tokyotosho updates new releases relatively quickly, as long as you don't do a search. Search queries are cached, the latest site updates are not shown right away. Nyaa is a little better for finding older series. If I want something old I usually just go to the fansub groups website, or check and see if any BD subbers (coalgirls, Thora) have released versions.

Yep, i watched it a few months ago. It was not as good as Hosoda´s 2 previous movies in my opinion but not because of the directing or anything but rather because of the plot.

eeh? but from the premise the plot sounds so good! (i haven't watched it yet so this is from an about-to-watch perspective).

woman falls in love with a wolf guy, bears his children, and raises them...

after watching the movie (eyes fresh from crying), it's a nice, warm-hearted movie overall.

I liked it I never expected it to go that direction but I liked how things turned out, and appreciated what it was trying to tell.

Indeed, it's a great film To me it was Hosoda's (Summer Wars, The Girl Who Leapt through Time) best movie so far, I absolutely loved the characters and their development. So touching and damn, that ending...
