Okay so I was soo effing bored today without having a new episode of Dexter to watch that I decided to do a review of this chapter. I hope you all enjoy it.

Fangirl Play-by-Play of Chapter 477! ZOMGYAY!





Page 1:

In a word? Grotesque. Danzou all upside down, flaunting his nasty Sharingarm...


It still doesn't creep me out as much as Kabutoro though.


Okay first things first. I ask you all to examine Danzou's hand. There's an eyeball on the back of his hand, yes? But...isn't there an eyeball on his palm too? Yes. There is. This is where I hold up my hand and look at it, and see that my hand isn't very wide. And then I sort of wonder how an eyeball the size of one of mine could fit in there with another one right on the other side, and that's about when I just move on because it's sick and confounds me.


Is Danzou not what he appears to be? What exactly does he appear to be? Is he The Ultimate Ninja??


Man, I don't know, but he sure got a bunch of eyeballs in his arm!! WTF!






Page 2:

ZOMFG!! DANZOU'S MYSTERIOUS POWERS!!


Danzou's all trying to be a pimp by analyzing Sasuke's jutsu and Karin is trying to figure out what the hell that jutsu is. And you know, doesn't it seem like a good portion of the story is about figuring out what THAT jutsu is??


Of course.






Page 3:

Sasuke is staring at the smashed remains of the Danzou he just crushed, Tobi is sitting there probably grinning with a hard on, and Karin is still like WTF!






Page 4:

Danzou is still trying to get at Sasuke by complimenting him, Sasuke is mean-mugging Danzou, and Karin is staring at Sasuke as usual and still thinking wtf.






Page 5:

All of a sudden Sasuke's all, RAWR! HATE!! SMASH!!! on Danzou and the place where he is standing, Karin shrieks because she a wussy girl, and...a wall is crumbling.






Page 6:

Danzou can haz dodge and Sasuke can has Amaterasu. Danzou then can haz wtf.






Page 7:

“OOF!” Danzou sure does say cool things when he gets caught in a jutsu that will never stop burning until he is reduced to vapor, doesn't he?


Sasuke's like, got you f*cker, and Madara's like, um, hey so yeah, are you really such a p*ssy that you have to waste your limited eye power just to figure this guy out? And Karin is even more like WTF! And I'm like wft is this chick wtf-ing about? Is she concerned for Sasuke's eyes or is something else about to happen?






Page 8:

oh she's looking at his Sharingarm! UGH! But she non-suckily helps Sasuke out by letting him know that Danzou is about to attack the shit out of him.


Kudos.


Oh! Danzou is a rare wind element ninja! Nice practice for Naruto then! And Sasuke is summoning something! OMG! Could it be a snake?? I haven't seen him use one of those in forever!






Page 9:

Okay, wait, that's not a snake. IT'S A F*CKING HAWK! OH!! HOW LAME!!!


Wait. No, no...it's not lame. In fact, for all we know he could have sneaked off from Orochimaru and made a backdoor pact with the birds, promising them plenty of snakes to eat in return for their services.


What ever.


Karin is relieved and I forgot why already, Tobi is like, Oh! A new jutsu! When the heck did he get that?


Well, obviously it wasn't recently, so my backdoor pact theory still works.


Sasuke looks like, seriously? Almost as much as he looks worn out.


Danzou's like, hey, I haven't seen Amaterasu in a while...man, that sure does take me back. Ah, sweet nostalgia. Itachi and I had such good times together protecting the village from your family. *pats his Sharingarm lovingly* Good times, good times.


And...Sasuke thinks it's time to dip into the hate stash again.






Page 10:

Sasuke can haz fly, and Karin is looking at something. Sasuke?


Ugh! No! It's Danzou's Sharingarm and wtf EYELIDS!! BLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!


How the hell did he instal eyelids!?! And they look JUST LIKE his REAL EYES!


Augh! Ugh! Blech!


And now I'm wondering if in fact Tobi is going to really turn out to be Danzou because I'm so mind raped by Sasuke's dead relatives eyeballs! AAAAAAAH!!


Moving on.






Page 11:

Sasuke's like, Bitch, what did I tell you about not speaking of Itachi?


And Danzou is like, you can't see what Itachi saw, neener neener, and on top of that because you don't play along, you're a disgrace to your family's memory.


Wrong thing to say. Or was it?






Page 12:

Dive Sasuke! Dive! Ram that bird right into that feeble old man! Do it! Do it!!


Naruto throws another rare and powerful wind jutsu at Sasuke by proxy via Danzou and Sasuke is all like, DODGED! LOSER!


And boy does he ever look pissed off too. I can't even imagine the rage that Tackle Me Emo must be feeling about Danzou's words right about now.






Page 13:

Sasuke with the katana!! Hellzyeah! And Danzou with the Sharingarm!


UGH! He just smashed one of Sasuke's dead relatives' eyeballs against Sasuke neck!! I wonder if he had his eye closed?!? UGH! Uchiha eyeball touching Sasuke's skin! BLARGH! YUCKY!!


I wonder if Karin and Madara are wondering the same stuff as me...






Page 14-15:

Oh! Heck yeah! Scissors beats arm!


And augh, his eyes are all closing. How nasty. At least it's dead.


Wait a minute, seems like Karin realized something there...






Page 16:

Danzou's over there! Of course! And he's still got that arm, so haha, you guys are stupid.


And Sasuke's like oh yeah? I saw Itachi turn into birds with my Sharingan so now I can do it all by myself. Haha. Bitch.






Page 17:

AND OMFG ITACHI!! WHERE THE F*CK DID HE COME FROM?!? WTF IS THAT JUTSU!?!?


Because we all know that it has to be some kind of jutsu.


Suddenly I'm not really concerned with what Danzou's jutsu is anymore. I just want to see some more Itachi! [strike]What a wonderful Christmas gift that was!!! Itachi for me on Christmas! [/strike]


I bet Madara plays the announcer for this next chapter. Since he knows everything and all. Either that or we get to see what's going with Naruto, but that could easily happen while also showing more Itachi...


Itachi! Squeeeeeee!!!


Itachi is The Ultimate Ninja. Eff that freak Danzou.

Eh...I don't know. I do one when it compels me. It's way easier to do in action chapters than it is to do when there's a ton of info happening. I tend to do them in spurts too.

I have to feel enthusiastic about doing it. If it gets too long I lose interest.


I'll try and keep them coming though...as much as I'm compelled and the chapter allows.

And yeah I don't know about all the Itachi stuff. It is awesome as f*ck to see him, but it could so easily suck. I hope it turns out epic though. Itachi demands a certain level of respect. He's about the only character to be a real mother f*cker, so having him show up again and it not have something to do with his ultimate genius would be terrible and would pi$$ off a lot of Itachi fans. Myself included.

Great review! I always like it when reviews lend insight into why you think a scene is good or totally lame rather than just a regurgitation of the chapter.

Itachi seems to have an amazing ability of giving his power away. How do you do this exactly? He gives some to Naruto and then some to Sasuke. The Itachi appears again after apparently buying the farm to Sasuke?...WTF!

I'm more interested in whether Itachi tells Sasuke that he just got trolled by Madara and didn't he tell him not to trust Madara to begin with? Of course, Itachi may not have enough time to tell Sasuke that he's a powerful but gullible douche bag.

nice to see ur review again , i like the half cussing action , being bad ass and not breaking rules ( well i dunno maybe u are but who is gonna care anyway, its u >.<) started off a bit soft tho no " karin looks at sauske's chakra to see if its genjutsu or if hes just happy to see danzou!" you know weird yaoi fangirl remarks that we usually get to see from u , but then it got better n i was like ya thats more like what i expect eg: karin's soft areas that sauske bites! O_o.

all in all it was fun, n methinks you should do em reviews when u feel ... enthusiastic (insert lewd connotation), they are usually worth the w8.

why didn't you use mangastream scans?

Maybe Sasuke copied Itachi's clone technique and used Itachi clone instead of his own.

*shrug* I don't know. Onemanga is my default reader place just because I'm so familiar with it, so when I do the review I am usually looking at that one online, then if I finish it I have to get a scan from somewhere, and if it's Sleepy Fans at OM then it's SF for the review. I do know that their translations aren't the best, and if I see a scan that Hisshou has translated I'll usually just get that one for myself.

And about that jutsu, of course there's always the chance that it's a psych out, but I would think it really lame if Danzou was actually psyched out by it, or that Sasuke would even think that it would psych Danzou out.

I'm honestly seriously disappointed that Sasuke doesn't ever use Kagebunshin. He has to know how to do it. To me it just seems like they keep him from using it because "That's Naruto's justu so if Sasuke uses it then that's bullshit because he already has enough hax!" You know?

I really don't have any absolute beliefs about this Itachi apparition, but I can't shake the thought of it having to do with Naruto's emo breakdown somehow. I've been perusing the other ideas floating around, but I'm not too fond of them because they seem too obvious, and we all know that the author tries to trick the hell out of us every chance he gets.

It would be funny as hell if Itachi apparition bitch slapped Sasuke, Danzou AND Madara though. He's the one true pimp if ever there was a pimp.

Well, I'm not drawing any conclusions about anything or anything, but I did find it funny that back when I (and RenBoy) was posting semi-regularly was when Nami went and posted THE NEW RULES.

It actually played a part in me losing interest in "reviewing" for a while. But then I decided that I like reviewing, and Mods and Mangahelpers like my reviews well enough, so if they don't have a problem with it then it's all good. Though I do try to make an effort to suppress my foul-mouthed fangirl urges for the sake of propriety. If I was posting all these at TiDhA I'd probably have to slap a big ol' "M" on them, (and I may just have to that sometime).

And BWAHAHAHA! The bolded part...you're right. I was so off my game with that one. I'll strive to keep myself up to par. And thanks. That made me LOL while I was on the phone and do you know how weird it is to explain my internet persona IRL?? It was too funny though, and very astute of you to notice something like that. Kudos!!
