Similarities between Naruto and 666 Satan?

I think i like 666satan/naruto more because they are so similar. I think it is kinda interesting to see how the same influences manifest themselves in different ways.

That's a nice opinion. Would be nice if more ppl think like that instead of bitching over odds and ends^^

What I think people miss is the whole concept of homage. If there is something particularly important to someone, such as a manga-ka for example, they often pay homage to it by including aspects of it in their own work. It isnt so much copying the original, its just acknowledging what influenced them.

If you have read 666satan then most people, I'm sure, will recognise Master Roshi's training technique from dragonball way back when. Homage to the legend that is dragonball.

I love the homage thing. Its like a way for the creators to say that they are as big a geek for doing it as you are for spotting it.

The two manga are very similar, however. I personally haven't read 666Satan, but I do know that there was a huge uproar in Japan on how Masashi's brother (I can't remember the name off the top of my head) seemed to be copying what Masashi made. Masashi Kishimoto had to come out with a statement specifically saying that his brother was not copying from him and that they were both writing totally different stories that just happened to have similar content.

I like how both have series have a character with a rediculously long scarf. (Jio & Konohamaru)

I wanna know where they both got the influence for those scarfs from so badly. I especially like how Seishi constantly uses the scarf as a weapon/ plot device in a humorous way in the midst of battle. Its almost One Peice-esqe (ie. ussopp hammer, rubberband, ect.).

Ya also gotta notice that both Masashi and Seishi have a lot of brother and twin characters in their respective sereis', which really shows just how much of an influence they had on eachother.

personally i prefer 666satan because the way its written is much more humorous and condensed than naruto. The new look after time skip is also slightly different to his original style so i guess he is trying to go his own direction

Out of love for family and as a brotherly joke I'm betting pride as a Kishimoto brother's fan that the last biju that neither Akatsuki or naruto has found will be the 6th tail(as in 666 satan) and will almost automatically have a brotherly bond with naruto when he if found by naruto or atleast will have half grey/white half black hair and/or one red one black eye and/or one black one white marks on his cheek that or six marks of miss match pattern(the 6 representing the amount of tails)

i believe (though i'm probably wrong) that they all ready have the 6 tails. Because in one if the lastest mangas the were carrying round the 7 tails and someone said they were collecting them in order.

In chap 353 Kisame caught the 4 tails and said that there is only a couple left. So, I'm pretty sure they aren't collecting them in order.

For the 6th tails, it can be the one, but I wouldn't bet on a brotherly bond --> the 6th, as every others, will most likely die quickly so he can't be as important as naruto's brother.

But if he has half grey/white half black hair, it would be a nice "private" joke !

.....Choucha I meant the brother thing like if naruto and the 6 tails met and acted like brothers from there interaction anyway it's not a spoiler after 7 days....todays thrusday(weekly manga release day) but yeah as the order thing gose it can't be that way because they had already sealed 2 other Biju before Gaara which has the one tail and had already sealed 6 other biju when they caught the old man who was the 4 tail. Plus you never know the Biju could run into Akatsuki or it could run into leaf ninja Kishi never stated that he would just introduce the chacrater then kill them off like he did with th 2nd tail it just happens that way some time.


and it was just random chance that we saw the defeat and capture of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th biju get caputred in that order but you also have to remember by the time they were sealed the third they had five open eyes that had an iris and a pupil.

well, collecting them in order? I don't know, but first garaa, then the second tailed one by hidan and kakuzu, then the third tailed one by tobi and deidara, and the fourth tailed one by kisame and itachi. It seems like going in an order, is something mentioned that while extracting those one they already captured some?

6-tailed a brotherly bond? no, because it's what's naruto is about. Aboy with kyuubi having no family and friends, but people who are comeing in his life making him stronger, etc...
