It doesn't really take much time to read, as it's minimal with text. What takes time when reading Yotsuba&! is all the great art and great facial impressions that you just sit calmly and watch for several minutes. At least that's what I did when I read it. I do it even more now, that it's just a single chapter now and then.

Yeah i am already at chapter 17 and i have been enjoying it a lot. Does the story progress ? Do we get more information about Yotsuba past ? And the facial expressions are definitely very well made.

The story do progress, but it's not talk about huge alterations. The introductions of some new characters is the main cause for this, as it opens up for some new viewpoints etc.

Personally I think Yotsuba&! is just getting better and better.

Isn't Yotsuba&! very popular in Japan ? Based on that, i thought it would be a bit more popular here but based on the ammount of comments on this thread it doesn't seem to be the case. Of the mangas that i have started in the last couple of days, is definitely the one that has most captivated me.

When I started this manga it was love at first read.
I almost immediately bought the 3 first volumes for my sister birthday (it's also a bit selfish since i want to read them after). She is teacher for 3 years old kids and always has funny stories to tell us. I wonder if she would like some Yotsuba childs in her class.

Already caught up with Yotsubato! and it was very enjoyable. The only bad thing is the fact that i would like that the author with all this mini-stories would develop a bit faster certain characters. I mean, i think that everyone of us, would like to know more about Yotsuba past, like for example where does she come from; who is her grandma; how did "Daddy" found her and so many other things.
But to anyone that might see this thread i highly recommend it and i can't really see any one that wouldn't like this manga

One thing that this manga is good at is definitely the characters.
I mean i like every single of them, but if i had to say it would be for me "Daddy" or Fuuka.

Yanda is probably the best villain of all times.I always loved their fights, especially the one when they first met.
I still remember how she wanted to block his way

    Re: Yotsuba&! by Azuma Kiyohiko

Yeah Yanda is definitely a very good villain and his "problems" with Yotsuba provide a lot of laughable moments
And this one isn't really a character but i gotta say that i also like a lot Danbo
