Naruto Vs Naruto Shippuden?

The only problem i have with Naruto Shippuuden is the music, compared to Naruto, it's pure bullshit !
Where's the awesome music when Lee opened the gates ? Or the one where Naruto fought against Gaara ? Or when the Kyuubi is out ?
If only they could do some good music, then it would be a lot better

I think Naruto VS Kiba is the best fight in both the original and Shippuuden ^^. It's probably the episode I've watched most at least.

I thought the animation was horrible... plus, Naruto got mauled like 20 times and still managed to win with his kyuubi completely sealed. Idk, I was cringing the whole fight. Now Naruto vs. Gaara... now that was something...

Hell one of the best, if not the best fight so far was that sequence with drunken Lee vs. Kimimaro. Pure melee. There was no fight in Naruto after that one that can even remotely compare.

I think that episodes that have emotional value should be animated better, take the focus off the fights only. I still think "Team Ten" was the best of the best Naruto has to offer, and honestly it was not a fighting episode still it had more character, I felt like identifying with Shikamaru. They had "human" qualities which is what anime caught my attention in the first place. I'm hoping for OVA's in the future, after Naruto is done. Going through everything with epic music and animation, it would be like Rurouni Kenshin all over again for me.

If you were to ask somebody I know about me and Naruto in general they'd probably tell you that I hated it or something with all the complaining I do about the series. Truth be told I don't think it's bad, I just don't think it's good either.. (Lots of memorable moments)

Honestly, you'd think I'd go with Naruto over Shippuden because secondary characters (Neji, Lee) had more of an impact than they do now, especially since they all seem to play less of a role now. It's like, now that their story is done that's it for them. I know it's called Naruto and all, but I definately wouldn't call it that when introducing so many characters and then leave them hanging. In Shippuden I really don't care for anybody in the leaf outside of Kakashi and it seems like he's been reduced to being fodder. All of my enjoyment comes from either characters outside of the leaf village (Raikage, Mizukage, Gaara) or Akatsuki.

With that said I'm still going with Shippuden mainly because of the fights and as I've mentioned, Akatsuki. I've enjoyed their seeing them and seeing what they can do. Nobody had more of a dominating pressence than Itachi IMO (outside of Pein). I don't mean to sound devlish and whatnot but I'm glad some of the characters (that stayed dead) kicked the bucket although Asuma was pretty cool.

Naruto, while I still don't like him one bit, he has gained my respect and I can atleast tolerate him a lot more now than when he was an obnoxious kid. I never had a big issue with Sasuke, but the amount of time that was spent on him was far too much, but I definately rather see more of him than Naruto, but that's nitpicky stuff lol. But yeah, Shippuden for me.
