Did anyone see Buried? For me it was one of the best movies that I've seen for a while now...for those who didn't see it, please do, and those who did...do you think you would've gotten out in those cicumstances?

Sucker Punch is manure coated with candy sprinkles, glitter, and sparklers, meaning it's got all the eye-candy you could ever want from an action movie, but close to no substance at all. The story was bland, draggy, and predictable; I actually felt like I was watching a really long episode of some TV show as opposed to watching a feature film. This is something I would only recommend for people looking for pure eye-candy and no substance.

7/10 (1 point for each of the girls, except Vanessa Hudgens, and three points for CGI/VFX)

I rewatched Stardust for the nth time. It's really one of my favorite movies (and books, by Neil Gaiman).

I really wondered why it never got much attention. It won some "Most overlooked movie of the year" award, and I totally agree. Maybe not much hype? or the fans of Gaiman were too much of a niche market?

I haven't. I'm afraid I'd either get claustrophobic or get some kinda nightmare if I do watch it. It seems like a superb, yet horrifying movie. Must see it sometime though! :3

I watched Battle: Los Angeles. I wont say the movie was different from what we have seen many times. But it was not a total waste of time. The saving grace for the movie was the role of Aaron Eckhart. His troubled past and some emotional scenes made it a decent watch.

Agreed, the part where Aaron Eckhart started reciting the names and numbers of his previous team mates nearly made me tear up. It reminded me of why he was one of my favorite actors in the first place; so much dedication and emotion.

Hall Pass was awesome! After ages of searching for a fresh new comedy, the Farrelly brothers deliver another movie that is pure comedic gold!

Totally agree Chief, scenes such as this made the movie alright. I have heard about Hall Pass but I didn't see it. What you said made me moved it up in my list of Movies-to-Watch .

Don't watch it unless it's R rated... Loads of the funny bits will most likely be cut due to their graphic nature if it were rated under anything lower than an R.

I watched I am Number Four today. I was expecting something spectacular and it was not. However, it was not a bad movie. I mean, if I spent money to watched it and didn't curse myself for wasting money, it should not be a waste .

Is it me or Teresa Palmer sometimes resembles to Kristen Stewart?

Some of the titles I do remember:
    • Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides
      Kung Fu Panda 2
      Green Lantern

By the way, quite a bit of sequels and remakes will be released this year.

Re: The Movie Thread! - Continuation

Thor, Captain America, Fast Five, Cars 2, Transformers 3, Harry Potter Finale part 2.

Yeah as you pointed out there's many sequels and remakes this year; but it's not only this year, I read an article in Empire Magazine where it was mentioned that last yaer(2010) not many original blockbuster movies came out with the main exceptions being Inception, Avatar and a few others. I dunno, maybe hollywood is running out of ideas??? And did I hear right that theyre remaking the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo? though its not even 3 years old yet....
