Personally I believe Sasori is the craziest, that guy made his parents into puppets...a process that not only involves killing them, but removing their organs, and skinning them...damn....

You got the inform on Sasori wrong. He didn't kill his parents, Kakashi's father did. And he didn't make his parents into human puppets, they were just regular puppets. They were just wooding puppet that resemble his parents.

But yeah he was a sociopath. He fucking made himself into a human puppet, crazy. And he had over a 200 human puppets in his arsenal.

There are a ton of crazy fuckers in this manga, I'll just name my favorites and give my reasons as I can't pick just one.

Orochimaru: He butchered far more people than anyone in the manga, and essentially made monsters from men. He himself disreguarded his own humanity in an attempt to gain knowledge and power.

Kabuto: Oro's favorite thing in the world after Sasuke, dude merged the remains of his dead master into his body. That's fucked up.

Sasori: For the reasons Knuckle pointed out.

Itachi, for the simple fact that despite being incredibly smart, the man killed his entire family, lovers, and then treated his brother like trash in an effort to make him more powerful and thus have him kill him and be seen as a hero. He had to have lost his mind.

Gaara pre-Naruto contact. Dude would just kill everything in front of him.

Sasuke for a the fucked up shit he's currently doing and his total disreguard for human life and everyone around him if they get in his way or are useless to him.

There's a ton more, but yea these are my top picks in no particular order.

Added a poll, thanks for the info Knuckles (I could of sworn his parents were Human puppets as well, if not I might have to change my vote to Juugo (loves to murder people, loves woodland creatures and disney movies), then Orochimaru (body swapping (even swapped into a girls boddy WTF), snake-loving, boy-seeking, necromorphing, sociopath), then Gai (retarded)/Zabuza/Gaara/Sasori.

Naruto, for being pathologically incapable of accepting that Sasuke doesn't give a fuck about him and is a wanted criminal that the ninja world wants assassinated. Seriously, who else is so incurably obdurate and obsessive in spite of reality? "Not giving up" is not an excuse to ignore the facts and his will to do so largely revolves around him being invincibly plot-armoured as the manga's protagonist.

I've gotta go Orochimaru. He didn't value any human life, even his own. He took the risk of experimenting on himself because a normal lifespan was so worthless to him. He only seemed to value subordinates for what they could offer him and it still seemed like loyalty could be rewarded with death at a whim. He had goals and all, but still he seemed about as reasonable as cancer. he was just a predator, an enemy of mankind....though he was a worthless sos in front of a sharingan.

I gave Kabuto a nod too, 'cause he was such a shell of a personality that he valued nestling himself next to a guy who could kill him at any moment for practically nothing and that gave his life meaning. His obsession with the man went beyond death with the cell transplant thing and now who knows what he is? I get the feeling if he couldn't transplant the cells, he would have tanned the skin and worn it like a suit.

So many, I don't know which one to pick. >.<

Gai and his Peter Pan syndrome is a contender, what did he went through to be so much in denial with reality? One can only wonders... He surely act totally at odds with the definition of "sane and stable adult". His overreacting to Tsunade's diagnostic for Lee spinal injury is just mad, in the first meaning of the word. He even went as far as call her a fake. o.O Not constructive at all, it doesn't help his poor student to cope with such a bad news, the only thing he try to protect is his own fantasy world. How did he ever became jounin remains a mystery.

Orochimaru pretty much look the same in a grimier way. The main character of his own fantasy world, he kept on underestimating his enemies and took bad wounds because of that. He just couldn't cope with reality, turning himself into a snake, believing he had bested death, just to get killed in his sickbed.

Gaara's mother is the kind to make her son unkillable so the other villagers will be reminded every day that she died cursing them. Kiba's mother doesn't look any better than Gai. And Shikamaru's mother is crazy, I tell you.

They are not actually dangerous, of course, but that's Kishi for you.

I'm suprised that Sasuke is scoring as high as he is. Seriously, he's not even in the league of the likes of Orochimaru. This guy was freaking crazy! Who knows how many people he has not just killed, but experimented on. He experimented on countless both already dead, but also still living creatures and humans. On top of this he had modified his own body into becoming a monster, and switched bodies to prolong his life. This guy in my book might easily score highest in terms of craziness. Although I'm really not sure, many in Naruto have been crazy in their own ways and it's hard to compare different types of craziness. But Sasuke is no way the most crazy out there, he's crazy alright, but not even close to having mental issues like Orochimaru and Sasori. I don't really have an absolute answer, but I voted Orochimaru nonetheless.

I'd say Tsunade, I forgot that she has self-esteem issues in addition to drinking and gambling problems you mentioned, she keeps herself looking young. Can anyone say cougar? Not to mention she has been traumatized by the loss of her little brother and that long haird guy from Guns n roses(Dan).

Which reminds me, I should have put Gaara's father and that guy that looked after Gaara in the list.

And to the above post, yeah I dont think Sasuke is nearly as crazy as say Orochimaru and Sasori. I believe Sasuke is the same level of crazy as Nagato, who I also believe has too many votes.

I would like to add on to that that Naruto has had 3 count em 3 cother people in his head. He has had Sasuke, his lifes obsession pop in and say hi. He has had the Kyuubi who is constantly trying to take control of his mind and body, and his long dead hero and father also made a stop at the Naruto Mind hotel. Not to mention Itatchi might make an appearance in the future.

While I certainly think Orochimaru can take the cake, Sasuke has been mind-raped more times than needed, and has heavy emotional and now likely mental scars that have made him rather insane.

In recent chapters he looks like he lost his damn mind while killing Danzou lol.

In any event, Sasuke has shown that he's willing to kill anyone for the sake of his goals. At this point, the only thing seperating Sasori, Orochimaru, and Sasuke are three points.

1) Why they became crazy
2) Their goal within all of the craziness
3) How many people they have killed. (Orochimaru and Sasori are like 35and 30 years older than Sasuke so they have a head start lol.)

All three show little value for human life. All three have shown they are willing to become monsters both physically and mentally to achieve their goal. And all three don't seem to care the lengths they have to go, no matter who they have to kill or who they have to rely on.

The dude is biased with his opinions on him saving Sasuke and bringing him back home. He is willing to let himself get beat up, sacrifice his friends just for Sasuke...soon he is gonna have no one. He is doing all of this shit and yet Sasuke doesn't give a fuck, Sasuke is living his life, accomplishing his goals as he goes along, moving on with his life and Naruto is still the same from the end of Part 1.

I'm preety positive the other Genins dont want to rescue Sasuke no more, and yet Naruto still does. If Madara told Naruto that he would give Sasuke back if Naruto gave him a BJ, Naruto would drop down on his knees with his mouth open in Sage Mode speed.
