Didn't the ganzters standing by the balls look like clones? The two old men with white hair could be clones and the ones with the dark wavy hair looked like each other.

I mean there could be a couple of pairs of clones. Obviously the white haired and black haired guys aren't clones of each other. But they seem to have clones of themselves standing with them. At least, there is a resemblence.

Personally i don't think there are any clones of them, and i fail to see why they'd even make clones.

Another chapter full of win. It's already hard to wait until the next one.
Finally the Gantzers are reunited, i hope there will be some Kurono/Katou tag battle. But, the Gantzers are sent inside the alien fortress, and ? it would be ridiculous for them to try killing aliens, they are so many and they can fight back. Or is it going to be a kind of infiltration mission (it would be sort of "innovation" in Gantz) ? I wonder if the politicians are going to give any specific goal.


Edit : another thought. What if the politicians were able to revive people from Gantz database ? They would, for example, revive dead Gantzers who got 100 points or more and send them as reinforcements. It would be a way for Izumi to make a great come-back. Suzuki-san too.

Did anyone else notice that the bomb implanted in Gantzer's heads were activated again? The politician used it to destory a Gantzer's head, to show what happens if any of the Gantzers refuse to play their game.

Now that they're on the spaceship, I'm betting that they're going to go on a forced killing spree.

If they were cloned by the Gantz ball, then they would already have the same hair (just like both Kuronos do). It would be a smart thing to do, should one of them get killed, the other will be able to continue the agenda.

I have the impression that these aliens are really similar to humans, at least the civilians behavior, they look like if it was a normal day, while their troops are down anihilating an entire planet.
Now the gantzers have to kill civilian aliens too? well im sure some of them will..
btw the gantz girl behind kaze looks hawt..

Read the translation : bombs have been reimplanted. (and not reactivated : Sakurai did a scan of its brain ans there was no more chip)

Don't confuse : gantzer copies and Gantz clones (the ones inside the ball, Sebastian is possible one of them ... and when i said 7 days it was about them ... because it is obvious that they are no copies between the new "leaders")

Finally getting into the meat of gantz. Im wondering if the 2 keis will work together.

I agree I wouldnt want a clone around. Afraid of something like hugh jackmans character in the prestige happening.

The two people on scan page 13 and 16 totally could be copies. We don't really know when the system makes the copies - for all we know, the copies could be of the original taken a year or two earlier.

The idea of people not wanting copies of themselves is not believable IMO, especially if there's a high chance you're going to die in battle. And if you're a copy, would you screw yourself over? I don't see that happening. I know I'd be making copies of myself. :-)

It's possible, but i doubt it.

In that case they should be identical, and these guys have different details in their faces. I think Hiroya doesn't have wide options when drawing different faces...at some point some people may look a lot like each other.

Anyway, could these guys mantain the gantz "game" for fun purposes? It's weird that the transfer started at night and they don't have any HAX gear. Maybe they were gamblers and decided to use the balls on their own to have some fun while killing the enemy.

The idea of people not wanting copies of themselves is not believable IMO, especially if there's a high chance you're going to die in battle. And if you're a copy, would you screw yourself over? I don't see that happening. I know I'd be making copies of myself. :-)

But even if you have a clone and you die : well sorry to break the news but you are DEAD !

This is not the D&D's clone where you transfer your "soul" to a souless copy waiting for you.

Yes you would make copy of yourself : to let them die in your place not to replace you (it is not a save, your consciousness won't awaken in your clone, it will have its own), because at the instant you create them they cease to be you, they are new beings with all that make you well ... you, but they will experiment a new life separate from yours.

And what you want and what your clone will want can fast be two separate things.

If you could transfer yourself to a new body yes clones are awesome, but otherwise except from the Sliders TV Show's point of view (body parts rechange), independant clones in a world like Gantz can become something pretty scary.

Well a clone would costs you 100pts : and since we don't know how the system works for obtaining Oka's suit and mecha ... it could be a disadvantage.

Then why cloning yourself ? Are you the best gantzer in the world ? Why not bring back or make a copy of your best chance of survival ?

Yup 100% confirmed.

Don't forget the human child with his telescope : he saw families inside the ship.
And all the aliens are "giants" : that is just how they are.

You can't clone yourself with 100 points kurono was an exception. Correct me if I'm wrong but option 3 is "revive someone from the memory banks" the key word being revive.

Kudos to whoever said gantzers would get teleported inside the ship.
