    Meaning of this Kanji...

    My friend is getting a tattoo done... He posted what it would look like, and I'd like to know what it is (yes, I did ask, he said "surprise"...whoopee).

    Here's the image: I believe it's Japanese Kanji...

    Would someone kindly inform me of what this is?
