The mangaka of Naruto and One Piece will be on stage together at the Jump Festa 2007. Some rumours saying there will be a Naruto (Part2) vs. Luffy OVA.

No love for Bleach? (Although a three-way battle would mean a team-up against the other ) I'm crossing my fingers that this is NOT the only announcement about the anime next week.

Oh, and the Naruto manga is reaching its 7th year in publication in SJ #52 as well. Whatever news it may be, it better live up to the celebration.

Luffy vs Naruto... it'd be interesting... it'd have to end in a draw to not upset any fans, but Naruto winning by default by Luffy falling asleep during the battle sounds just as likely actually XD

in general those dvds get ripped relatively fast by the same raw groups that upload weekly tv-anime... since most of us here watch anime too we should have found it very fast as soon as it surfaces ^^

Is Luffy really that powerfull? I'm sorry I do not watch or read One Piece and io don't know if I will ever be able to force myself to do it. Simply because I saw snipets of a few dubbed episodes on Cartoon Network and I was scarred for life. I have still not gotten over that.

[b][font=verdana][color=green][size=1]Please, don't watch the dubbed version of One Piece, it is the most heavily edited cartoon out there, and I feel like crying in pain when I see the dub! In case you don't know about Luffy, he's one guy that has the power cause mass destruction anywhere. Like 100X Tsunade!

ok, well I guess he is strong then. Thanks for the warnig too, and don't worry, I have stayed clear out of the way of anything One Piece for over a year now. I am not about to see a dubb, not even by accident.
