I think I understand you, it's the same to me, I didn't expect to see Katastrophe like a big mission, and I expected that the aliens were totally different from what they actually are, you know, not demi-human...

It's not that i dont like it so far, its just not what i expected... but anyway, i didn't expected the italy mission and inaba died, so something good can happen here too....

Blondie will try to kill kurono or something like that, katou will help him out, they get lost, and blondie goes after kurono2, and then reika will help him out, anyway, both kuronos have a support character, so blondie will have a hard time, plus, if both kuronos team up, Katastrophe will be pretty much over... sorry for the bad engrish, i'm not in the mood ):

this is exactly what i expected from katastrophe, long time ago i said katastrophe will be based on battles, at least that being the substance. each facing his own demons err aliens it seems, with Oku's chosen surviving. just badass fights, Oku making his own action movie sequences.

again, want to see Takeshi & Nishi most, personal preference.

i agree, don't really care general blondie's story, just want to see him fight & die, if he's gonna have any story it's just his orders.

those generals were tossing everyone like a salad, i don't even know what they were doing except tossing people and dismembering afew limbs.

G suit was awesome reveal. so just push a button invis-like, and it begins to unfold, cool.

I'm just going to be blunt: Katastrophe isn't anything like what I expected.
And I mean that in a negative way.

Anyone else feel this way or is it that my expectations are just too high?

Wonder what Cherry will be able to do about his arm.. probably nothing.

I feel the same way, but at the same time I'm still hoping another alien race attacks or the aliens from the previous missions make a comeback. These aliens aren't as interesting nor as freaky as the Buddha Statues, Nuri or the Italian Aliens. But since Hikawa, Nishi and other characters still haven't appeared I'd say Oku is waiting for a next stage of the invasion to include them and make things more interesting. Also this manga needs more deaths on the "good" side, in the beginning you felt really uncertain for what could happen to the main characters, now feel like they are all going to survive, and now that we are left with the "favorites" it's really hard to have a sense of urgency.

I wonder why that alien is so interested in Kei. He's nothing special. He should be worrying about the guy single-handedly taking on the Giant Aliens.

We all know a transfer is coming. There's so many aliens that the Gantzers dont stand a chance (even if the 'leader' is surprisingly calm). It's also the only way anyone can actually leave the ship, so if Oku wants any of his main characters to survive, the transfers not too far away.

I like how the leader is cocky enough to ask for just the arms of Oka's suit.

Probably won't be much of a backstory to these aliens. They can't even speak English Japanese. I think the only explanation we'll get will come from humans.

I thing I hope to see is some of Earth's aliens fighting back. Imagine what an alien like Nurarihyon could do to the aliens. I'm wondering also whether the Gantzers will be sent home in the meantime, or whether they'll be forced to stay wherever the 'leaders' transfer them to. If that is the case, what about Tae and the others? Will they get they're own little story?

the glances between Gsuit & the other too goon generals was great. Gsuit leader looks calm and cool, while the general looks like he'd enjoy crushing his calmness, i think it works well. after Kurono staring and noticing this, he glances up at general blondie, looks like it's gonna be good.

I normally don't care for Cherry but I feel sorry for him. He and all the other weak characters better should run somewhere and hide.

Yes his demeanor is quite obvious. Perhaps it could be due to his experience. He seems very battle minded or resolved in his actions.

The higher rank aliens are scary powerful.

They are very fast and strong enough to twist bodies with the suit on (i don't know if that could kill them, but they were bleeding). I bet the blondie can dodge the H Gun like the vampire could.

I don't Kurono alone can take that guy, unless he enters hax mode like never before.

The one thing I sorta hate about Katou is that he is Oku's favorite. Which means no matter he is going to be a main cast member. Which made me think about when I heard the same thing from Kishimoto (Narutos author) about Saskue.

Well I don't know if this will happen but I hope both Kei's can come back alive and live their respective lives much to the dismay of Gantz556.

it was okay earlier in the manga when he was being the good guy because he didnt know what was going on, but now he is just being a stupid retard. He was shooting the giants with that net string xgun! derp derp, aliens kill your entire planet, so lets give them mercy because you are morally better than them. he is an idiot!

and the 3 aliens guys with no helmets look like they are probably genetically engineered? the gantz suits make humans super fast/strong, but only the 3 aliens without helmets seem to be the strongest and look different

the boss with the G-arms was blocking all the kicks from the giants and he has a smug look on his face. im hoping there will be a calvery of giant Gsuits to be teleporting in for a battle royale

There is still no confirmation if Blondie has 2 eyes or 4. His hair is always covering it up just like in an anime when a chick is naked her hair always gets in the way or her arm or some tree branch
