This map seems based on France. Wonder if all the cities will be full of crossaints and bonjours.
And it makes me wonder if other countries will be used as reference in the future. So far it's only been Japan (map-wise) as far as I know.
I love the new features, I love this new region and I love the new Pokemons.
Why is October so far away?
Wow the Pokemon X cover looks amazing. And yes, the map does recemble France a lot. I am most happy about it being not an other island of it's own such as Hoenn and Sinnoh. I'd prefer everthing to be somewhat connected like it was in cases of Kanto and Jotho.
I'm gonna sit EVERYWHERE!
There is a limited edition Eevee 3DS XL. Unfortunately, it's only available in Japan and you can only get it if your name is drawn from a lottery at the Pokemon Centers.
Anyone can guess how many pokemon (new and old) will be catchable on these games?; 'cause I have read that the pokedex is so big, that was divided in 3 sub-categories. So, I calculate at least between 450 and 550 species. Any thoughts?
Anyway it is almost certain that a new type will be introduced in the franchise, namely Fairy, which is way different from Light; honestly I don't know what to think about it, but I admit that a new type needed to be added...
As for how many pokemon there should be, I would guess about 300 or so. That would fit with what we've seen from past games.
"Fairy-types" was leaked by a supposed insider, who in the past has leaked true information and correctly revealed the English names before their official announcement. So many people are willing to trust it being true.
Either way we will have a new type.
Anyway isn't today that we will finally have confirmation of this new type on Pokèmon Smash?

That's pretty cool. ^w^ I can't wait to see what this will do to the move-sets of preexisting Pokémon that will be labeled Fairy. I always thought critters like Mawile were lacking in power/utility of their move-sets, so here's hoping some of these cute little guys will get some lovin'.
I checked online, and apparently the episode with Junichi Masuda will air May 19th (Sunday). But either way, seems we'll have info within the next twenty-four hours.

Didn't notice before, but the graphics have gotten more refined.
