Finally someone who pays attention to my posts. My man.

Like I said, court 4 played every match even though they all lost.

    But they aren't important characters...
Every middle scholar needs to shine, and the only simultanious matches I remembered (VS Kiraku's team and VS St.Rudolph) were a bit chaotic

That doesn't change the fact that all 5 matches will be played, regardless of the results (whether they are really played simultaniously or one after another doesn't matter so much). In other words it's possible that all of them win/lose or whatever.

Doesn't matter, 3 wins=court wins. I also thought about WoK winning at first but I'm not sure. I can see why Shiraishi and Kirihara might win - Kirihara hasnt had a decent match since he got owned by Renji (well...he did but he still "won") and Shiraishi had that one match. I think Shiraishis bible tennis wont be defeated - merely returned so even with his bible, he can't really score the point. Hyakuren would be interesting.

Guys to look out for in my opinion is Miyako - top guy on the left, he looks like a beast (he won S3 6-0 actually)...WoK's opponent doesn't look too bad but who knows, the guy with a bandage looks cool. Krauser is playing "Terminator", that guy looks like a proper twat but it doesnt look like he would be crucified at any rate. And then Yamato (hmm) and Irie XD

Ima change my predictions for fun...
    My predictions:
    7-5 Miyako Matsudaira pair
    6-4 Chitose Tachibana Pair
    6-3 Nakaguchi
    7-5 Tezuka
    6-3 Irie

    3-2 to Court 3

Doubt its gonna happen but oh well

the rest I don't give a damn, not even Yamato. what I wanna see is how strong Irie is. Is he at the same league as Oni and Kazuya? if he is, I wouldn't satisfy if Atobe get more than 3 points.

Re: Shin Prince of Tennis Chapter 27 and 28 Discussion/Predictions

When we're predicting scores now, here I go:
    D2: Shiraishi/Kirihara vs Matsudaira/Miyako 7-6
    D1: Tachibana/Chitose vs Suzuki/Washio 5-7
    S3: Crauza vs Nakagauchi 6-4
    S2: Tezuka vs Yamato 7-6
    S1: Atobe vs Irie 1-6

Yes, I think 3rd court will win the team shuffle in the end, but some of the court 3 guys will probably come back by winning a shuffle match against someone from court 1 or 2.

If the middle schoolers lose now, then what would happen? Wouldn't they simply end up training harder to get stronger, have a rematch some time in the future, and maybe have some different teammates? I personally hope that Yukimura replaces Crauza, and Fuji replaces Akaya.
The 3rd court should get a taste of what the Child of God and the Genius can do.

However, I don't really want them to lose. I want to get to the part of the manga where we get to see who the Japanese National team will be composed of, and let them go have a world tournament or something.

Thats when the losers come back ...I mean all we've been hearing is how the middle schoolers have been owning everyone, the high schoolers need their pride for once. Besides, it's going so slowly already, not gonna make much difference -.-

Don't worry though, we'll reach the international tournament in probably about 2012

Oh God no. This manga needs to be weekly. We're already going to be deprived of PoT this month, I need a quick fix already...

I can't really see them in another team shuffle if they lose, at least not against the 3rd court (Oni said something like it was their only chance when I remember correctly).
I suppose the losers and some other middle schoolers like Yukimura and Fuji (and some of the losers) will have a team shuffle with court 2 or something, then the strongest high schoolers will gather in court 1, maybe on last minute shuffle match to replace a middle schooler in court 2 respectively 3. Afterwards the 1st string will come back and they'll have some kind of elimination matches including them and the first 3 courts to determine who will be part of the team, something like that.

It's chapter 28 and, until now, high scholars have been shown to be fodder. They need a glorious moment.

If the 5 matches take place at the same time, I'd bet for a 5-0 for high scholars, just to show the gap between them. Atobe and Tezuka would be fighting to finish their matches the last one, but both would be in 1-6, 2-6 levels

If it's a regular match, I bet again for a 3-2 with Irie raping Atobe

Re: Shin Prince of Tennis Chapter 27 and 28 Discussion/Predictions

I don't think it would be a 5-0 - if High Schoolers are that much better, and Japanese level is supposedly low (whatever Inoue said), just imagine the international level. - anywayz, wtf happened to Inoue XD

They can play again after once week but I'd hate to see another one of these. Just imagine another 5 or more chapters (or 5+ months as I like to put it) on it >_<

Tis true they need time to show off but they're not exactly fodder...its probably more accurate to say the lower ranked high schoolers are fodders - the higher schoolers are gonna be like - ima kick ass!

They're all gonna be interesting match, except Single 3. Krauser speaking in english lol - "urghhh how can this be?" XD

Actually I love both Atobe and Irie. As much as I would like to see Atobe pull out something clever, I have a feeling he wont. This match will be to show us Irie's strength.

Then they will say Irie was originally from court 1 with Oni, like I predicted. Just you wait.
