Hello everyone.

My name is Michael Modrovsky. I am the owner of a small videography company Mind's Sight Studio. http://www.web-nex.com/Work/Michael_...HTML/film.html

I am beginning the testing phase on a very small and very personal project of mine. I am looking for talented up and coming artist to design characters based on my story lines and ideas.

I can not give out too much information on the project, but I am looking for something in the (style/genre) of the Godzilla movies, Tatsunko, Power Ranger shows, etc. Not so much the monsters, but the super heroes themselves.

If anyone out there is interested in this project, please send me samples of your work and a price your are willing to work for. Right now, I am only looking for artist to do very basic sketches. Your ability to design original and creative characters is more important to me than your actual art talent level.

Please do not send me any drawings of your original characters. If you are chosen to work, we will come to a written agreement with a contract based on a negotiated pay. Any characters that are designed for me under contract will become my legal property, although the artist will retain full credit for the design and possible royalties. ( If something becomes of the project.)

Ideally, I am looking for someone I can work as a partner with. Please feel free to ask me any questions. I look forward to talking to you and seeing your work.

"Area limits?" If you mean location, than no. I would gladly work with someone who lives abroad. Sex or age isn't an issue, applicants just need to have a good understanding of English so that we can bounce ideas back and forth until the characters become perfected.

No, I'm not looking for anything like that. If anything my project is aimed at the teen and pre-teen age group, 8-16 age range.

The story is science fiction based. I'm looking for someone to design futuristic ninja warriors basically. Something, in the mixture of Voltron Robotech, Gundam, Power Ranger, genres. I would like to stay away from the massive overly detailed robots, but the warrior could have similar high tech armor and a blade. like Tekkaman Blade from Tatsunko. (Maybe even a little less detailed.)

One question though:What kind of samples do you expect?

I'm more interested in seeing futuristic designs and drawings, so that I know that the artist can do it. I just don't want anyone to send me a drawing of one of their own favorite creations or characters that you might be planing to to use a in one of your own stories.
A lot of times in scfi story's the enemy's has a few generals and a army full of drones that all look the same. A design or two of just a drone robot or something along those lines might be a good idea.
