Instead, congrats to Atletico Madrid for winning European League. Falcao was awesome, this is his first season in the new club, and he is already contributing a trophy.
Well, at least you guys helped give us the title earlier

Yeah, but only if Dalglish gets some midfielders.

Arsenal's assistant manager Pat Rice will be leaving the club after 16 years as Wenger's right hand man. Quite sad and surprised to be honest but I wish him all the best in the future.

Indeed, it is, but if Arsenal picks up M'Vila, as well as keeping RVP, it'll be a successful offseason.

I can't wait Dortmund performance for next year Champions League. Especially after this.

    Congrats Dortmund.

5-2? That must cut deep for Bayern

Last games of the Premier League today with both Manchester teams still looking to clinch the title. Man City are of course favourites because of their huge goal difference and are my choice to win the league too but Man Utd have a bad habit of coming through in the direst of situations

I was rofling when I saw this last night. It's like, this was the final match. I don't know whether your players were going full out or not, but somehow, you don't throw away a cup final like that, especially if all of your players are playing. It's not like half the team was resting...

    FOOTBALL. BLOODY HELL.

This is the most epic season of EPL that I've ever seen. Congrats Manchester City!

Blame Joey Barton for 5 minutes extra time

That was just an epic finish. Congrats to City for finishing it out over a determined QPR team, who ended up staying up regardless of the loss.

Indeed. Loved how City fans were biting their lips hard and hitting their seats with scarfs and all the women were crying. Then on minute 95....

Well, now CL final and Coppa Italia then this season is done and it's time for Europe Cup.

Also, Chiellini got injured minutes before the end. He was crying in fear of the possiblity of not playing for Italy
    Tiger, Tiger.

Let it be known far and wide
I cheer for Saint-Etienne from the bottom of my heart

For what it's worth, Malouda injured his hamstring against Blackburn, although he probably wasn't playing for us in the CL Final anyway.

Finally King Kenny got sacked . It seems Liverpool's owner is not satisfied with Carling cup

If André Villas-Boas become Liverpool's coach later, I think they should make another version of this

    Re: The Football/Soccer Thread v2

England squad has been announced now, with the notable inclusion and rejection of Oxlade-Chamberlain and Rio Ferdinand respectively. Much has been said about the latter's snubbing. notably by Sol Campbell and other ex- England defenders as they believe he provides a much needed experience in the squad and defense.
