The EXE series (I prefer to call it that) was honestly great and it didn't drag on too long either which was awesome.

The way things kept on getting better gameplay wise was always a plus however some of the things the story had you do were pretty... annoying.

The videoman scenario in #3 i believe it was never ceases to get under my skin.

I do enjoy the BN series, but I haven't beaten them all yet. And I still need to get my hands on the first one. It's a nice change of pace, but I pine for a Mega Man 9, if anything, just to bridge the gap from the MM series to the X series and give us closure of those characters.

Forgive me, now probably I'm a little not oriented in MM serieses, but there is Megaman 9 game, that gives info how it happend to Megaman X?

You mean Megaman & Bass/Rockman & Forte right? Yeah that's true it's Megaman 9 but... well it doesn't REALLY give the info i think he's after.

The one that gets me however is the info between X8 and the Zero series. We know that the Elf Wars happens inbetween but we don't know much else other then that and Dr Weil/Vile and Omega are involved.

Mega Man & Bass is NOT Mega Man 9... There has never been a game called Mega Man 9, and sadly there never will be.

What I want in Mega Man 9 is the final fate of Wiley, Dr. Light, Mega, Protoman, Roll, Bass, etc. Also need to see the completion of Zero and the creation of X.

Also, since it's the 20th, what games would you like to see to celebrate?

I, of course, want Mega Man 9, and I also want the Mega Man Anniversary Collection for the GBA that was announced. Sadly, Capcom announced it, and promptly forgot about it, which means a lot of gamers will never play the GB versions of Mega Man 4 and 5, which are two of the best Mega Man games ever made.

I personally consider MM&B to be Megaman 9 UNTIL MM9 finally (if ever) comes along. But as i said i'd rather see what happens between the X series and the Zero series in detail.

Well, my dear friends, why not a thread about our loved Blue Bomb, known as Megaman?

Megaman is a classic, the first classic in Capcom's story, and yet, in nowadays, he's a great success, so many versions and ports to almost every console!

Megaman 4 was really difficult, and a great one too, and in X series, my favorite was X4, with great anime scenes( Zero and Iris was perfectly!)

Then, let's discuss this great serie!

hahah x4.. god.. the scene I laughed the most is when Zero went Emoish..

WHAT AM I FIGHTING FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRRRR?... god that was overtop and cheesy. But, I did love the fighting scene between Maverick Zero and Good Sigma (sigma good, who'd guess it eh? )

hahaha sorry, never saw it. But anyways I still feel like posting something about megaman x anyways. While the story wasn't anything OMG shocking, I still considered at least a part of the game, even if it is the typical rescue the world from big bad enemy prick, yada yada. I admit, I was happy that there was still some references to the old Megaman universe. Of course Zero being created by Wily wasn't shocking to me. Heh, it's probably the fact that I played x4 first, and then x1,x2,and x3. The only thing I griped about is how X became a pacifist pussy in each game. He really became a wuss after x5, and x8, he just became a pacifist prick. Of course I always wondered what happened to the orginal cast of Megaman characters but I believe it won't ever be explained, although it's kind easy to figure out what happen. I did love the theories how Megaman was actually X, etc, but that has been debunked with the PSP Maverick Hunter scene where Dr.Light is creating X.

Probably only thing that made me laugh and roll my eyes over is how Capcom keeps bringing Sigma back no matter what...

Today I replayed Mega Man 1, and damn, that game is way difficult, and the no password thing makes the game even more difficult: the one eye monster is reallyy a pain here, and Willy, probably the hardest of them!

This takes me back. I only ever played two of the Megaman games seriously, Megaman 3 and X. Some of the best gaming of my life went into those two.
