Looks like Kurono's got 10-15 seconds to come up with a cunningly brilliant plan to locate Tae. Surely the aliens have a plan B for the clever few that made it onto the little platform.

Very good chapter, in my opinion. One of the best we've had in a while. Oku's been neglecting a lot of the main cast for a while now but you can't deny that he's doing a very good job with Kurono/Tae. I would have thought the people would be more inclined to try and hide their body parts, rather than stand about as normal though.

Kurono needs to act fast. Presuming that he got sent somehow to the same section as Tae he may have a chance, but if that acid destroys his suit and his gun, he's rather like, fucked.

Would anyone familiar with Japanese be able to explain to me what was said in the 'holding area' and specifically what the guy who saved Tae said? He seemed like a rapist to me...

Either they use the bodies for scientific purposes or they are incredibly uneconomic.
Has anyone noticed a scheme how they choose the people brought to the mothership?

So far the aliens appear to be mustache twirlingly evil without much motivation and hey kill people for the heck of it. I hope they get at least something resembling a motivation.

@ Damura: I got a feeling that the guy who helps out Tae is really creepy. In hos first scene I had the feeling he was about to rape her as well.

The young guy started to theorize why they brought there. sterilization? (terrestial bacteria may be dangerous to the aliens) it didn't make sense to kill them when they could have done it long ago. He thinks they are just war prisoners...and they could be sent to a prison camp.

Other guy told a story about a sparrow he had and how it died after he captured...he thought it died of fear and can't stop thinking what the giants are going to do to them.

The rapist dude didn't said anything...well when he touched tae and she asked what did he want, he said "Nothing...really..." and when he saved her he said "Follow me...".

Lastly, the flow of the water in the room started to get stronger making them to cross the room. the young dude said he would give a signal when he reached the next room...obviously he didn't make it.

I thought that guy wanted to rape tae lol..i thought it was her father but i think he is dead. I like how that young guy acted like a leader then they all see him dead like a cow, I believe kurono will save tae but then because he would of attacked aliens in the mothership dock the blonde general alien will come and fight kurono.

I bet the guy will rape Tae, he's far too interested in her. About the bodies, why the hell do they all have a cut in the chest ? Maybe the aliens are trying to collect human blood ? They can't collect it if they just smash and blow people up in the streets.

Maybe they use them as food? or as fuel? i remember the Spielbergo version of War of the Worlds where the aliens used human blood to water their reed weed.

It could be that some people are sent to that place and other to a lab...

To me this guy looked similar to those 3 or 4 'leaders' that all looked alike (though in different stages of life - young, middle-aged, etc).

I think we can all agree nonetheless that there's something off about him. What kind of guy goes out of his way to save a stranger when the world's about to end? He's fucking crazy. 'Normal people' wouldn't do something like this. Oku doesn't have a lot of faith in humanity. Of course he could just be a rapist or something, but that seems kind of boring.

Good chapter, would of hoped it finished with kurono blowing off an aliens head. I wonder if were gona see naked Kuwabara style gantzing again ><

Typical. The lower and middle class are whisked off to be slashed open and prepared as food, while residents of the more upper class areas celebrate comparative bliss, being 'investigated' with strange probes in a lab. There is truly no justice in the world.

The human penises are censored. There's no detail in them at all - I checked! It's more like an outline of a penis.
