Naruto, Sasuke, and the Sage of the Six Paths

To clear some things up for the people who are probably very confused about what on earth is happening in the manga right now, I'll shed some light to hopefully make things easier to understand.

    http://www.onemanga.com/Naruto/462/12/
    http://www.onemanga.com/Naruto/462/13/
    http://www.onemanga.com/Naruto/462/14/
    http://www.onemanga.com/Naruto/462/15/

Knowing that his end was approaching, the Sage entrusted his strength, dream, and legacy to his two sons. The older son, who inherited the Sage's "eyes": the power of his chakra and his spiritual energy, believed that power was the true key to peace (Sasuke/Nagato). The younger son, who inherited the Sage's "body"; his willpower and physical energy, believed that love was the true key to peace (Naruto).

On his deathbed, the Sage chose his younger son to be his successor. Overcome by bitterness and envy, the older son attacked the younger, beginning a war between them. Their feud would continue on through their descendants: the Senju clan and the Uchiha clan.

Sasuke is obviously of the Uchiha clan, however now because of what Madara said, Naruto was drafted into the Senju clan (Most likely due to Kushina's bloodline). Naruto always considered Sasuke a "Brother," little did he know, Sasuke was more of a brother than he thought.

Because they are direct decendents of the Sage, this suggests the following,

    Naruto:

    -Body of the Sage
    -Willpower
    -Physical Energy
    -Fueled by Love
    -Successor of the Sage
    Spoiler: Successor show

    Sasuke/Nagato:

    -Eyes of the Sage
    -Chakra-power
    -Spiritual Energy
    -Fueled by Power

Once again, even in the current generation, the two siblings fight.

Remark: your first 3 spoilers aren't working...

So basically, the Uchiha are going to have to take a seat once again to the Senju if the 2 of them fight and Naruto wins!

I posted something like your post here and I believe naruto will have chakra-power (his current + kyuubi+ nature chakra) and spiritual energy (sage mode, meditations etc.) too, plus totally agree with your post.

Thumbs Up Re: Naruto, Sasuke, and the Sage of the Six Paths

I see the resemblance between Naruto and the younger brother, but not with Sasuke and the older brother.

“The younger son, who inherited the Sage's "body"; his willpower and physical energy, believed that love was the true key to peace (Naruto) “

This is true Naruto thinks and act the same way as the Younger brother.

“The older son, who inherited the Sage's "eyes": the power of his chakra and his spiritual energy, believed that power was the true key to peace (Sasuke/Nagato)”

Sasuke does not have any resemblance with the older son because Sasuke just want one thing in this ninjas world, and that is to avenge his clan, Imo Nagato fit the bill to play the role of the older brother, since Nagato right now in the anime is using the power of the Rinnegan to bring peace.

To be honest, I think Nagato was suppose to be the final villain of the manga, but I assume Kishimoto change his mind in the latter stages of the manga by given us that story Madara lay to Naruto Kakashi and Yamoto of the Sage of the Six Paths which basically put Sasuke in the frame of Nagato, which imo is not working at all.

There is something terribly wrong with this theory... Naruto also has the eyes of a Sage.

The older son did not have the Rinnegan, he had the Sharingan. He was the first Uchiha. The only other known person to have the Rinnegan besides the sage himself, was Nagato. Sasuke does fit the role just like Madara did in the older generation.

Naruto does not have doujutsu of any kind. I don't know what you're talking about.

Dude you need to go back and read the chapter where madara was telling the story of the Sage of the Six Paths, he said THE ELDER WAS BORN WITH THE SAGE’S “EYES”... AND WAS GIFTED WITH HIS POWERFUL CHAKRAS AND SPIRITUL ENERGY. Note that Madara side BORN with the Sage’s eyes, which can only mean Rinnegan. Again Sasuke has nothing connecting him with the Sage of the Six Paths.

First of all, the picture itself (of the elder son) showed the Sharingan. Second of all, Madara said the first son inherited the "eyes," which within the context of the conversation means the ability to use doujutsu, not the inheritance of the Rinnegan.

Not only that, saying Sasuke has nothing connecting him with the Sage made me lol. Where do you think the Uchiha clan came from brah?

Re: Naruto, Sasuke, and the Sage of the Six Paths

What is the debate here? Naruto & Sasuke are the descendants every 5 chapters they are spewing propaganda about inheriting the will of fire. Assumably Naruto is either a member of the senju clan or closely affiliated enough to carry on there will, and sasuke is a uchiha and filled with all that hatred and such, But madara and or kabuto are the final villains so either sasuke will kill them and naruto will kill him or they will team up and triumph all. With love.

I don't know what your talking about, but Naruto has the eyes of a sage. Click on the link and it will show you what I'm talking about.

Don't even bother trying to twist it into something that it's not... the manga says that Naruto has the eyes of a sage... so Naruto has the eyes of a sage... He does not have the Sharigan, nor Rennigan, but the eyes of a sage... Naruto has them. Also notice that Pa frog refers to the chakra as Senjutsu chakra.... that's right.. Naruto is from the Senju clan...

Actually, the elder son didn't show Sharingan. His eyes had spiral, similar to Rinnegan, but no tomoe.

I think the only relation they have to Rikudou Sennin is how they portray his sons, and Sasuke being Rikuou Sennin's descendant. Naruto portrays the younger brother, peace through love. Sasuke possesses the older brother's want for revenge. Like the brothers, Hashirama and Madara fought because of power and Madara possibly being jealous of Hashirama getting power. But, Naruto and Sasuke are fighting because Sasuke wants revenge for his clan's destruction, while Naruto wants to protect Konoha and Sasuke.

You are the one twisting the text making it something it's not. The toad said Naruto had completed sage mode, and JUST that. The indication for completion was the "Dark pigmentation" (red eyeliner), and it was something Jiraiya couldn't fully master. That in NO way states that Naruto has some sort of power in his eyes. You need to look up what "Eisegesis" means.

I see 3 Tomoe's. Not only that, if it was actually the rinnegan, there would be no mistaking it. You just draw circles with a dot in the middle, there is no fine details. The fact that it is hard to tell indicates that there IS fine detail. It's sharingan.

Re: Naruto, Sasuke, and the Sage of the Six Paths

    Fine detail?
So what are those circles? Layers of eyeballs?
and the sage have six eyeballs so theres six circles?
and that he have six sharingans?
    Dude, anyone can twist anything
and it's obvious that its the rinnegan.
