Re: Can anyone help me purchase something?

Amazon.co.jp won't ship the items to my country :/
It's all 2nd hand, from subsidiary retailers it seems.

Re: Where to buy Japanese manga online

how good is BK1 for US orders? I'm new to the forums. I was wondering which is the best shipping method for BK1 to US, and how much a GFantasy (1) Gangan comic (1), and a DN. ANGEL (1) tankobon cost?

Re: Where to buy Japanese manga online

    A Few updates:
    1. Sasuga Books has closed its doors... Sigh...

    2. Other than the books they have in stock/listed in Ebay and second-hand copies, I would suggest people NOT to use Acclimate Solution. Their "special orders" is simply buying from Amazon.co.jp and reship it overseas to you... With an overhead on top of Amazon's price. It pains me to say this, but you're better off to place small orders on BK1 and big orders (over 10 items) on Amazon.co.jp.

    3. Order from BK1 ONLY when you have received a BK1 coupon. They send them out every now and then, so you should get one every 1~2 months. Also, they give out free BK1 points (cash) everyday, and you also get a bonus for completing the daily "task" every day for an entire month.

    4. I have not yet find a good replacement for buying Japanese Manga Magazines right now... So if you have a good place to check out, let me know.

    That's it for now!

P.S. For those wondering where I've been for the past few months... I've given up on Translating series to English for now, and only a few series to Chinese. I'm planning on finishing up my doctorate by the end of Fall Semester, so...

    Anyway, good luck guys!

Where to buy Japanese manga online

Is there a shop (in Japan) that sells old issues from magazines?

EDIT: I'm looking for Young King #10 (not Young King Ours) #10 2010/04/26
    http://www.shonengahosha.jp/youngkin...hp?y=2010&m=10

For Boichi's Trigun: The Lost Plant. I can't find this issue anywhere.

Does anyone know where to buy old issues of Beans A?

I'm sorry this is such a broad question... well, Beans A(ce?) is was a shoujo magazine, so I suppose it's slightly on topic...

I was reading Golden Corridor in Asuka before it switched over to Beans, and because I was late on the uptake I only have issue #19, while I know Beans started carrying the series at #17. I'm having a heck of a time finding these books online, so I was wondering if anyone knew of any stores that carry older magazines like this, or perhaps of someone willing to sell/trade for these magazines?

There was supposed to be a volume 2 release of the manga (Amazon even had it listed ;_, but Yuiga Satol decided to put the series on hiatus with one chapter to spare. Please, if anyone could help, I would be immensely grateful!

You can get a subscription to it from Fujisan: http://www.fujisan.com/control/categ...OG_ID=magazine
You're probably out of luck for older issues, though.

Where can I buy issues of Weekly Young Jump?

Hello. I apologize in advance if this is the wrong section for this thread, but does anyone here know of a website thats sells YJ?
I figure this is the right section, seeing that YJ is a seinen mag.
(Ebay's alright, but from what I've seen the sellers are never up-to-date with the latest issue.)

Well the reason I registered to this site is to say "Thank you" to this topic. Thanks to it I found honto and was able to finally purchase myself some Japanese Manga.

    Just one thing:
BK1 was reopened as Honto, and now ordering from there is not as simple as before, This might be helpful if you can't get around with the Japanese

Re: Where to buy Japanese manga

    Hello guys
I registered to help you with Japanese manga!
There's a site called 'Akiba-Market' with 300+ manga complete sets.
I bought a few sets there and the prices are always lower than Amazon or any other sites. I used E-Bay to buy City Hunter in Japanese but it was like half price on Akiba-Market so...
Anyway, I'd recommend that site if you want to buy Japanese manga set at low price.
