Well, is it really Zazie? I mean, Fate was able to turn into that governor guy 20 years ago. Shiori may have that as an artifact, but Fate created it, so he could obviously have more of those things, just not in artifact form.
And even if it really is Zazie, is she actually an enemy?

Damn... this is the most epic plot twist of all time ever. And with that I count Aizen's defection from Soul Society in Bleach. At the time that one came as a complete surprise, you simply have to agree with me. But I digress.

Who'd thunk that Zazie, the number one enigmatic manga/anime character ever would make an appearance at this particular point in the manga?

I seriously doubt she's fully on Fate's side, but given Tsukuyomi's reluctant agreement to leave Negi for Fate in 293, there's no way we can actually pinpoint what Zazie's going to do. We'll just have to find out in 295, dammit!

This plot is amazing. The question everyone is thinking is she friend of foe. She can also be one of fates spies in her apperance. Fate was their when Negi and his class was at the class trip. He could of memorized all the students and disguised one of them to throw his off balance to get an edge.
I have a feeling that she is from the magical world. Her name is written in latin. Also what is her pactio going to be.

In the manga you cannot quite see the picture like this. As the fold down the middle obscures Zazie quite alot.

However if you dissect the picture, it makes alot of sense. Why is Chao so close to Negi in that picture? When she does not make a big appearance till much later? Why is Eva in the heart near TTT? All of those have been answered. Chao is related to Negi and is of big importance to the plot for several chapters. Eva's importance goes without saying.

But all leaves the glaring question about Zazie. When some say "all theories revolve around Zazie" they are more right then they say.

Does anyone have a larger copy of that picture? Would love a closer look at those wings? hands? around Zazie.
