I'm liking that direction. Maybe there is a chance that Gerard doesn't hate Edoras and doesn't really want to fight anyone there but just didn't like their methods. He might have a way to give them magic this way they will stop attacking Earthland for it.

I never assumed he hated his homeland but merely thought that he didn't want any other world to suffer so decided to follow and stop the anima and maybe now's he found a way for Edoras to have magic or anothe rmagical source. I hope he comes back to Earthland though, but now that he's revealed his face I think he's lost that mysteriousness he had, but still a good character.

Yes, cats for everyone is for the good)) I really like Lily with Gazille. It is really badass pair, but according to the actual plot I don't see Lily leaving Edoras for Earthland.(

I'd like him to come back but I have a feeling he might not be. One since he is no longer wearing a mask it would be awkward because I'm expecting us to encounter Earthland Gerard sometime again. As well, if Faust gets defeated, who else is left to rule over Edolas but Mistgun? I have this feeling that since he is the prince he is going to have to remain in Edolas and rule as the new king then.

Yes, I think that Mistgun won't come back, because he will need to rule his kingdom after his father will be defeated. And Lily will be at his side, as I see it. Though Gazille may convince him, but it is doubteble.

With all said and done, I think it's pretty obvious that Mistgun will have to stay in Edoras and rule as the new King, thus bringing the Exceeds and humans closer together.

I wonder though, at which point will we see Edo-Fairytail???

Well, Lily appears to be in the same level of power than Gazille. So doubt he will be capable of forcing Lily.
