Ookami didn’t have me ROFL during the whole episode but there were a few moments that made me

He did his best to protect her while acting as her shield and he even got hurt because of it; unfortunately he failed that time but he didn’t give up rather he returned stronger and more confident and ready to show us his excellent skills as a hunter by using his pachinko and then for the finishing touch he protected Ryouko from the leader of the bad guys by knocking the guy out with a mighty punch to the face. He even openly declared in front of everyone that he will be the one who will catch Ryouko (and make her his woman). Ryoushi’s hunter side is awesome!!!
, she now knows she can count on him; his support allows her to do her best and become stronger.
That was a really painful and traumatizing event for Otsuu. So it was really nice to see how the Otogi gang helped Otsuu realize that you don’t need to keep track of favors between friends.
He is a true wolf in sheep's clothing.

) But I was taken aback a bit by the flashback on Ryouko's past in ep. 5. Didn't expect such traumatic stuff in this lighthearted animation style
I hope it's only misleading too though.

It was nice to see how Ryoko used to be before the traumatic event with Shirou, but at the same time seeing how much Ryoko has changed made me dislike Shirou even more.

And all of Ryoushi’s efforts have not been in vain, since he is slowly but surely winning Ryouko’s heart.
We had lots of cameos in this episode; the ones I recognized were the ones of Taiga and Minorin from Toradora.
