Re: [NEW] SWOT by Sugita Naoya

Yeah, I expect that SWOT will do what Metarika Metaruka is doing right now. (Ranking uber low despite being a decent manga)

We need something D.Gray-man-ish again, it'd be a breath of fresh air <:

Well, I'm actually liking this one.
I don't really know why but the main character fights with a book... this is awesome. :P
And the art is not bad... it's just not good also.
But I think this'll survive more than Metallica.

Am I the only one that's really enjoying this series? It's all about fighting. It's good. :P
Step by step we're going to know the characters more. C'mon, I can't be the only one...

No ur not XDD for some reason i got addicted to it from the first chapter XDD I find it easier to read than Mettalica which for some reason i think is completely boring. The constant fighting is a turn off for most people but i like having that manga that i can just look at when i'm in the mood for action

Yeah, it's a definite improvement over Zan. With the introduction of the Teppen the plot seems to be coming together somewhat. I must say that while Manabizaki's act was interesting in the beginning, it's sort of starting to get old.

My main complaint about SWOT is how every character looks the same. And for a series with eight chapters, there sure are a lot of characters!

Yeah, and that too. I swear one of the guys in Chapter 8 used an energy blast. The heck?

Well I don't know why I never posted in here.

I liked this manga from the first chapter. It has likeable characters. And Manabizaki's tsundere(is this for girls only?) personality is fun.

Well I also like the mindless fights that have been going on it reminds me of gantz lol it seems like a royal rumble and only the strongest will stay standing in the end.

    Re: SWOT by Sugita Naoya

i still really dig it, the style isnt anything compelling but its unique and fun, he uses school supplies as weapons and only in chapter 9 everybody can break concrete.

last chapter had some development to, iwashida shows potential with exceptionaly hard arms? or is it bones maybe..

and yamikura makes an enemy who seems stronger than anyone so far.

After reading chapter 11, I'm thinking that Kakugo is pretty similar with Nen (from Hunter x Hunter).

This can't end. This is just too awesome. This series isn't about story, fun and characters... this is our weekly dose of adrenaline!

    Re: SWOT by Sugita Naoya

I just love how this series is just over the top action from the begining. It could become more absurd than Dragon Ball if it keeps going.

I hope this doesn't get the axe.

    Re: SWOT by Sugita Naoya

Who the hell are you guys kidding?!

This is going to get axed before chapter 20, I'm so extremely sure about it that I'm willing to place a bet on it.
You honestly can't compare this to Dragonball. This has been ridiculous from the very start and it wasn't until chapter 10 (Ten!) that we saw any kind of plot- or character development.

I don't even know how people can tell who is who, everyone looks the same...

To each his own, I guess. :I

That's why is fun it has almost no plot and the power levels are ridiculous right from the begining. It's just a carefree manga.
