Kishimoto sides with creativeness of CyberConnect2.

    Narutimate Hero 3 (released December 22, 2005):
    Hirashin @30 seconds

This was before Minato was even shown in the Kakashi Gaiden arc (not like Minato showed anything anyway), and it looks like Kishimoto went with CC2's take on Minato's moveset. Pretty soon Kishimoto will implement the teleportation rasengan at 1:13.

    CC2 becoming canon? lol

    Manga chapter 502 (released July 14, 2010):

I always knew CC2 was known for going ahead of the manga and putting their own twist on things, but dang.

watching it animated reminds me of Goku's instant transmission technique lol.

I want to show I can be a splendid ninja as well, even if I don't have ninjutsu or genjutsu ...
I want to prove it to the whole world!

Yeah, a lot of people have been talking about the similarities of Minato's teleport rasengan and Goku's teleport kamehameha.

Re: Kishimoto sides with creativeness of CyberConnect2.

Kakashi Gaiden was over in the manga several months before Narutimate Hero 3 was released. Anyway, it's not as if "throw kunai, then teleport" or "use rasengan, then teleport" are difficult concepts to come up with.

I don't see why it means Kishimoto was inspired by the games, although I'm not saying he never has, since he's previously stated he designed the cover of volume 26 based off the look of Kyuubi Naruto from one of the games. But still, you should know what I'm getting at.

I understand your point, but lets be real, CC2 is the greatest company to ever touch the Naruto series, and Kishimoto knows it.

That may or may not be true, to both, but I still don't see how this means that CC2 has been working with Kishimoto, or that Kishimoto is regularly inspired by the games. It only means that CC2 try to do their own thing when they can, and that Kishimoto might borrow an idea or design on occasion.

Er , I don't see how it didn't just go like this

Cc2: "hey we're thinking about including Minato, what's he like?"

    Kish :"oh he's like this"

It's impossible to backwards engineer when kish gets ideas baised on when it appears in the manga. He may have had kakashi gaiden sketched out years ago and was just waiting for a good place to put it in the anime.

Most of the attacks they give the characters are crap... Jiraiya using Fire Rasengan, Kakashi using all 5 elements, Neji using Kame-Hame-Ha with a finger, Shino using his bugs like Gaara is using his sand, Sakura attacking with a very big version of her inner voice, Gai using Falcon Punch, Kakashi flying with Chidori, etc...

It's not that bad anymore in their latest games but they still make a lot of bad movesets that look like DBZ attacks...

And I agree that Minato's attack isn't such a unique concept.

Well, I suppose part of their ideas may come from the author, so it's not like he copied them, but I'm willing to believe that they copied him, you know? Manga artists get to influence the games made with their characters, so it's not like there wasn't a single finger from Kishimoto on that scene.

Re: Kishimoto sides with creativeness of CyberConnect2.

kakashi gaiden was allready out for quite a while before that games development proces even started.

also in gaiden, yondaime uses the kunai-hiraishin version to teleport to kakashi.
and he's also seen, telling the konoha fodder, to throw kunai at the enemy, so he can finish them.
it's not that hard to put these two things together, and come up with a attack.

also the "press hand on enemy" hiraishin version was literally copied from gaiden, so i think we can definitely assume the programmers had a look at gaiden

but all this talking about hiraishin reminds me of a long discussion i once had with googlez-kun.
it was before gaiden was animated, and we were speculating whether the anime-studio would perhaps add some filler content, and actually show minato killing those 50 stone ninja.

you know: konoha fodder throwing kunai's at enemy, minato teleporting between 50 enemy's, offing them in a instant

would've been cool, had they decided to do that, but oh wel, i guess there's always the Ultimate Ninja Storm series.

ps: narutimate accel 3 for the psp also contains the kunai-hiraishin version

False, NH3 came out before the Kakashi Gaiden chapters. 2 YEARS before.

    Proof:

    Naruto Chapter 239:

    Narutimate Hero 3

the japanese release date of volume 27 is april 4th 2005 :

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of..._manga_volumes

generally the volumes appear about a half a a month later from the moment the latest included chapter appeared, so that would make it the eighteenth of March 2005 or something

the date you're referring to is the adding date on which those chapters were uploaded.
if you look underneath that, you'll see that chapter 217 until 238 were added on sep 8 2007.
