Since when do sheika stones give that sort of help? I think the water temple must have been significantly changed lol.

Well in the 3DS remake you've got two big Sheikah Stones, one in Link's house and one in the Temple of Time, which serve the same purpose as the Sheikah Stone in Skyward Sword did. Basically they contain videos which give you some help with what it is you have to do. And as for the Water Temple, maybe it felt easier seeing as the hud is a lot better and allows you to change boots in an instant. It still took me a while though...

I think the water temple was mad easier for the DS version. I mean, the thing is legendarily complicated. If we trust the wiki it was even given less difficulty for the master quest.

I am done with my run of the wind waker and I must say the game is way too easy. Enemies barely do any damage. The game is incredible but it is perhaps the easiest of all zelda games for consoles so far.

So... I am thinking of going through another zelda game soon. Not sure which one to do. My options are ocarina of time, ocarina of time master quest, majora's mask, twilight princess. I would rather not do twilight princess or skyward sword as I have played them rather recently. Not sure if I should do OoT or the master quest, once is supposedly harder but OoT has the original water temple.... Majora's mask is perhaps the shortest one though....

    Why?

I mean, I ruined my whole Zelda experience because I played Majora's first (and I loved it, but it's the different one, so I don't like the others that much); but that just 1 case. It doesn't really matter which one you play first or last...

As I said, that just happened because Majora's is the most different one and I loved it too much -.- .

Different as in how? The gameplay mechanic is the same. In terms of story and how you play it's a bit different but it's still very much a Zelda game.

I said it before Gary -.-

I like the investigation/side quests parts more than the dungeons (a lot of Zelda games just focus on them), I really liked the transformations that gave you 4 differents styles of gameplay, I LOVED THE FREAKING MASKS and the fact that each one had an even/quest behind it, I loved how dark/sad/terrifying/epic (all this emotions at the same time) the game was, etc...

There are a lot of things that make Majora the different one. I don't think any other Zelda game is like that. Yeah, it has the same engine as Ocarina, but it's a completely different game.

I agree with all those things man. I mentioned that how the game is played is quite different. I wasn't saying it was different at all, but I still think the best way to play is chronologically

Chronologically for us, or chronologically in Zelda's world?

For us. I know there are timelines in which these games take place, but most of us don't pay attention to such things

Nah, It actually doesn't really matter, as most games aren't related which each other ^^.

So... people should begin with the one in the NES (although I don't really know if it's the first one ) ?

    Re: The Zelda Thread!

I played oracle of seasons, oracle of ages and link to the past.... I don't have the means to currently play them though.

Anyways, I think I am going to go for OoT next. Thinking about it it is the only zelda where I have never completed a 100% run. Those skulltulas thingys are just that much of a pain.... I might go for one of those crazy 3 heart runs though, it might keep the game more interesting.... OoT is also the one I have played the least. Definitely majora's mask after that though.
