Any hope for Byakugan?

Is there any?Kishi is making all sorts of cool looking sharingan techniques and upgrades,so that they can pull out all sorts of stuff from their sharingan asses...like being able to:
1-see the flow of the chakra(not as precise as byakugan,but still)
2-can memorize ninjutsu, genjutsu, and taijutsu with near perfect accuracy.(I'm not sure if they can memorize someone else genjutsu,but I think they can)
3-hypnosis.With a single eye contact.
And these,abilities are just for normal sharingan users.
I don't need to explain what mangekyo sharingan can do.Not to say,that Madara is planing to use this "Moon's eye plan"(COME ON!).
On the other side byakugan users are stuck with "gentle fist" fighting style,being able to see through solid objects and of course,lets not forget their primary job in the manga now,the frickin' "WATCHTOWER" ABILITY.
I'm frustrated because I used to be a byakugan fan,but they just dont evolve.
BTW sorry for my english(its not perfect I know) and I don't consider myself as a new member although its my first post,because I'm constantly reading the topics of this forum.(just saying).

Anyways as far as this story goes, is focus on Sasuke and half of it to Naruto. If Naruto gets a byakugan, it might be revived or evolved or any power up.

You know when Pain (Yahiko), Activates the rinnengan to look at he barrier of Konoha it have the same effect of the Bykuugan. I hope to see more of the Byakuugan this time from Hinata, but with my luck it will be neji again.

Yeah,but in the past the other nations were more interested in byakugan instead of sharingan,so I hope there is a more than a stupid reason for that.And recently I'm hearing rumors for something called "golden byakugan",but never in the manga I have seen even a hint for that,so I guess its just a fan fiction.
edit:and just my speculation-maybe Hiashi knows some secrets.He seem to be quite strong(at least last time I saw him).

Oh Neji would be the perfect victim for Sasuke's new EMS... He would get pwned in one second, i don't like Sasuke, but let's face it, Neji would lose in one second against Sasuke

There is still a possibility that the Hyuuga Clan split from either the uchiha or the senju clan at a early stage(earlier than Uzumaki clan splitting from the Senju) and that the Byakugan is another "evolution" of the Rinnegan like the Sharingan is...

I would say there is alot of hope seeing as how kishi has full control.. he may come back a revive it if he feels it necessary ex Ao was able to see through the genjustu that was controlling the fourth mizukage. Something that I did not think the Byakugan could do

Why wouldnt the byakugan be able to see someone influenced by a genjutsu? It has been clearly said that a genjutsu changes the flow of the chakra from the influenced person, so for me it was clear that the byakugan could see it because with it you can see a chakra flow

I agree. And another thing is, that the Byakukan can cut chakra and nullify the chakra flow. This is a really important thing that some people don´t see.

Yeah,but its not range ability.The user actually have to touch his opponent...and with that many overpowered enemies like Naruto,Sasuke,Madara,Bee,Gaara etc. You can only beat second rated characters,like Tsunade,Sakura,MAYBE Sai and of course all mutes around the Naruto-world.

Jup, Byakugan is, in my opinion, the ultimate "taijutsu/close range" eye-power.. in close range it is definetly deadly and leaves you no chance, you cant surround a byakugan user and definetly not attack one with close range attacks.

What im courious about is.. well, elements. i have not seen a byakugan user with an elemental attack. This would definetly strenghten them a lot

The sharingan of course.. copying jutsus, genjutsus and seeing highspeed movements, controlling summons / tailed beasts > the evolution to the mangekyou sharingan and, dont forget, that every sharingan seems to have a special ability.

when you think about it, well, sharingan may be totally overpowered, but i think there are some things about the byakugan that have not been revealed.

Byakugan has a total defense. I think with this he can cut chakra based attacks too and he can see trough Genjutsu. So it isn´t so bad even against a Sharingan user.
