Summary and Preview:
On the dark side of the moon exists a highly advanced civilization divided into two clans, the Takenouchi family and the Umenouchi family. Takenouchi Kaguya is the daughter of Takenouchi Fumiya, the acting queen of the clan. Kaguya is the next in line for the position for queen but she refuses to be obedient and wants to enjoy life. The bratty Kaguya despises her mother and the people around her for being so strict and often wishes she was never born as a princess.
Queen Fumiya has been severely ill for many years now, but has kept it from her daughter in order to protect her but her condition has worsened. The Umenouchi family takes this opportunity to start a coup and takes over the government. Knowing that she is not able to ensure her daughter’s safety on the moon, Fumiya sends Kaguya to Earth with the powerful katana that symbolizes her ownership of the moon. Without the sword, the Umenouchi family cannot usurp control of the moon. Kaguya is forced to mature and become stronger in order to take back what was once her mother’s! [vyc]

So far, I'm enjoying this manga. I think it is better than TISTA.
I've only read the 1st chapter and it was a fun read. I think the introduction with the characters mixed with the flashbacks flowed effortlessly. I'm glad to see more female heroines as the lead character, which I think SQ is making progress in this category.
Now she's off the moon and on Earth, I'm sure the rival clan will show up and cause trouble, I hope to see some more scans.
I have yet to read the first chapter, but the art is dazzling.
I read the third chapter and I like it a lot. I like the similarity with ao no excorsist because both manga focus more on the story than the action itself. Okay, there has been some fighting scenes but they haven't been WSJ ridiculous and there's always a feeling that the storytelling itself remains the most important. I am looking forward to how this story will evolve and I do hope it won't be as short as Tista
Gekka Bijin 1
This volume came out earlier this month, but I didn't post the cover here. Contains chapters 1~3.
Great manga! I've enjoyed reading it so far. This is something slightly different and refreshing in my eyes.
"Hell Scream Symphony Act One was splendid." "The Grinder Empress" -
this does look pretty slick, where is everyone else reading it?
does anyone know if this manga's gonna be dropped?
I started reading today and I have to say I'm impressed so far. I couldn't help but be absorbed in the world and it's characters. At first Kaguya reminded me of Naruto, but she grew on me fast. The artwork is beautiful and the setting and character designs are creative. It has a good bit of comedy as well. I'll definitely continue reading.
I bought three volumes I am waiting for the Forth one I must say this manga is awesome The artwork is amazing.
Too bad that many people not know about this series, even tank sales and ranking are low.
Meaning it's doing badly all around? I hope it won't be discontinued.
Anyway, I really loved the few translated chapters I've been able to find, and I've been holding out hope that someone would pick it up again for translation. I tried to e-mail the group that did the first six chapters to ask if they had any plans, but no luck. Does anybody here happen to know anything...?
