    Exclamation Otaku Culture - Rules and Guidelines

    Welcome to the Otaku Culture! This is where you can come to talk about all Japanese/Asian cultural things. Fashion, food, candy, festivals, cosplay, art, toys, places and so much more! Everyone is welcome to start discussions, ask for advice or simply post in one of the different threads in this section.

    Prefixes
    • Discussion: To be used for discussing topics regarding Japanese/Korean/Chinese culture that don’t go with any of the other prefixes of the section.

    • Fashion: To be used for discussing topics regarding clothing styles, designers, fashion trends, models and everything else related to the Japanese/Korean/Chinese fashion world.

    • Food/Candy: To be used for discussing topics regarding favorite dishes, recipes, restaurants, chefs and everything else related to the Japanese/Korean/Chinese cuisine.

    • Festival: To be used for discussing topics regarding Asian festivals and celebrations held in Japan/Korea/China and in other countries as well.

    • Cosplay: To be used for discussing topics regarding information, conventions and events, pictures, cosplayers, tips on costume construction, hair styling, makeup and other cosplay-related tips as well as anything else related to the Cosplay culture.

    • Art: To be used for discussing topics regarding art news, exhibitions reviews, paintings, artists and everything else related to the Traditional and Contemporary Japanese/Korean/Chinese art world.

    • Toys and Games: To be used for discussing topics regarding Japanese/Korean/Chinese collectibles, toys, games, figures, accessories, etc.

    • Hang-out: Mod use only, for hangout thread.

    • Travel: To be used for discussing topics regarding travel tips, vacation ideas, destination information, advice on trip planning, places, and anything else related to visiting Japan/Korea/China.

    • Traditional Music: To be used for discussing topics regarding genres, songs, singers/songwriters and all the other aspects of the Japanese/Korean/Chinese traditional music.

    • Info: Thread for information about anything related to the Japanese/Korean/Chinese culture.


    Please prefix all new threads.

    And please remember, the forum rules also apply to the Otaku Culture.
