I post this one because it was one of the more memorable things i saw on any of the big screens in japan. I saw it in harajuku...makes me want to go back or travel in time so bad
isn't that one of the bleach openings too? ^^
EDIT: The first to be precise
yes, but i figure not that many people have seen the music video. I know i didnt before seeing it on tv (they had a wrap up on one day of the top hundred songs for like the past million years on tv once and i saw it there. My homestay group also had a bunch of copies of the bleach game for the psp and we played that alot amongst one another...I should stop talking about this, i miss it too much
Check out some Beat Crusaders vids too. XD Funny ones. XD
And check out their music vid for the Mickey Mouse theme song:

a slow, sad and emotional song entitled Embryo..
the original lyrics were banned... this is the allowed version lyrics...
the original was more like a ballad...
are there any "great musicians/bands" right now in japan that could be considered the "elite" in the music business right now? like the best selling artists or something? the big boys? what are the most common genre's right now actually over there ^^, mostly j-rock?
is there any place to download some songs by the bands you mentioned? you will be considered our accomplice in crime though
i havn't heard much japanese modern music at all, but for the anime-related songs, but i like orange range / uverworld / akeboshi from those so far...
^Get limewire, Ghost.
Or try torrents. I've heard they've got albums in there.
i use torrents, and their number of seeders / speed made me post this... i prefer to have those three albums before my birthday, and i'm not exagorating (sp?) this time... - Khal
ooh.. how can i not mention Yoshiki... the legendary drummer from X-Japan.. and the Violet UK project now.. (he swore he'll never play drum again after Hide's suicide accidental death)
95-96 Drum Solo
his tribute to Hide, Without You:
and this is yoshiki playing piano, along with Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra and Nicole Scherzinger (um.. just that girl from Pussycat Dolls) singing I'll Be Your Love... nicely done..

Violet UK hasn't released any album yet due to the fact that yoshiki is a perfectionist.. but you can listen to his demo or unreleased song in that myspace page...
sucks liveOriginally Posted by Khal
Even if they do, would you mind me being jealous for you seeing them live?Originally Posted by njt
haha well I wasn't there... watched their live performance on tv... not at all as cool as their Official songsOriginally Posted by Khal
OK, they sucks live, whatever, but, their songs are great! Now, I'm currently into their debut album, "Timeless". They are better than Asian Kung-Fu Generation and Orange range, eventhough they are considered quite new in the music industry. Go check out "Just melody" and "Colors of the Heart", which is the opening song for Blood+.
