maybe...just maybe...the black age that OP mention about is the world we live now....but it has advanced tech....like nuclear war.....

It would be cool if there was something deep but simple behind the Void Century...
But its impossible to speculate, it can be lots of things...
The only bits of history we have were some words from Clover and Shandian's story!
