This looks like it might be interesting, I think I'm going to give it a try.
Goood stuff. The first chapter was really impressive.Definetly one of the best "first-chapters" i've ever read in Shonen JUMP.
Great chapter!!! I just hope it doesn't get too thriller-y. My stomach can't stand those.
Some things I liked about ch.1 would be the mystery being know as ənígmə. Him appearing on monitors reminds me of Jigsaw in the Saw movies. You wake up finding yourself in a game, not knowing why you are here.
Dislike would be Sumio. He acts serious one moments with some nice deductions skills and the next thing we know he is being silly and making jokes. A rough transition for me to follow and accept.
Predictions - Perhaps his father is trapped within this e-test or a different stage. It would explain why his mother knows about ənígmə and why he hasn't returned home. I'm thinking the other students will have various specific psychic abilities. Like telekinesis, teleportation, and astral projection, stuff that has to deal with the mind.
I like the first chapter! I can't say much from one chapter only, but it seems promising.
Stuffs about several people being forced to play a deathly game is not new. I kinda got a 'Rabbit Doubt' and 'Di[e]ce' vibe from this chapter. And don't forget Gantz and Psyren. But what can i say, it is only the first chapter, maybe the deathly game is only the beginning and not the entire premise.

Not a bad chapter but I wouldn't call it a great chapter either. The genre itself is very appealing. I always like mysteries and the manga managed to end mysterious. The lady knew about ənígmə and suddenly she disappears without any information. I also wonder what the talents are that other people in the building have. Will they work together? Or will some consider others as potential enemies?
I didn't like the fact that there was hardly a right introduction for the character(s). Character introduction is imo very important in a chapter of +50 pages. The story can't survive imo if we don't know anything about the characters; then again, this can be the mangaka's purpose so that he can keep his characters as one of the mysteries. A promising start for sure but not a thrilling one ^^
It seemed kind of choppy, almost as though the author tried to write 70 pages and was only allowed 50. I normally would say that the author should have gone slower, but at this point in the 2010 ToC, it's either now or never. First impressions are everything, and so far, this has a lot of potential. I'm definitely reading up to the end of this arc to see how the situation ends up.

I enjoyed the first chapter. The series seems like it could turn into something very promising. Of course it had its flaws like others pointed out, but its head and shoulders above most of the other new series form this year.
Some people are saying that Enigma is a copy of Mirai Nikki. I want to know how people think about this.
It's not a copy, just a certain element is the same, but you can't possibly call everything else in enigma like Mirai Nikki, so it's not a copy. The future sight was bound to be done again eventually, and I'm pretty sure it has to some extent but just not to a very well known series. If anything, I see enigma sorta like a combination of many other things, mirai nikki having some element of that. But then again, when are series not combinations of elements of stuff that we've seen before.
I liked the first chapter, not everything was perfect but it really had me interested in where it's going next. The only problems I had were...
A) The humor. The way it was handled felt incredibly out of place and it made the first quarter or so far more irritating than it should have been.
B) It doesn't feel like the author has a grip on his own art yet, and it seemed off in a few places. However I really like the style and I'm sure it'll get better, it's just a matter of the series getting enough time to develop.
It looked really interesting ,i agree that in some places the ast was kind of off but the humor and the story ,well lets just say that for a first chapter it was really good!I kinda really wait to see what will happen next!Hope it doesnt get Battle royale in some points!
A rather decent start. I could be saying this because it's one of the better I personally didn't mind that the characters weren't introduced right off the bat. I mean, it adds to their own little mystery. I assume that as soon as we get to know the characters, we'll learn of their own unique abilities. So I'd rather they not be introduced right away. Overall I'd give the first chapter a 7/10.
