Munakata is an anthropology professor who studies the relationship between folklore or fairy tales and real historical events. This manga tells the story of Professor Munakata as he follows the clues left from both the imaginary world of fairy tales and the real world of historical evidence.

Honestly for a huge fan of history and folktales, especially the ones which are closely related with Japanese culture, this manga is terrific. Sure the details can be tedious and the artwork isn't first-rate, but honestly this manga has its own charm.

It is good for what it is indeed, nothing special tho, the author probably has better works in his mix.

It is even more enjoyable if, like me, this is your field of studies, of course the manga is hard to get into if you are not into that stuff at least a bit, a fun read tho - might get someone to explore more from this author.
